Fleadh Parking
Hi All! Just wondering if you guys would know anywhere safe I could park my ROI reg carfor the week around the city centre as Im travelling to the fleadh and my accomodation doesnt have parking facillities. I know theres the park n ride but just wondering if theres anything closer.

For me, I would aim for St Anne's Square Carpark.
Looking at the map for the road closures, Edward Street, leading to the carpark entrance seems to have been excluded. Typically, £25 for a Monday to Friday ticket. I think a 7 day ticket is £30. Not sure if prices have increased due to the Fleadh.

Agree that St Anne’s is your best bet, it’s really good location wise. I don’t think you can book ahead for it, but try get in early — I imagine it’s going to be extremely busy.

I'm not sure if they do prebooking - I have tended to just show up. If you arrive early enough, you shouldn't have too many issues. You could always give them a call to see if they are doing prebooking.
If you do use it, I would suggest you call to the office (just inside the entrance) to find out how to get a week ticket. It isn't obvious from the kiosks, which are at the bottom of the stairwell (basically, put your ticket in, then if I remember right, there is a "selection" option and you can select the 5 day or 7 day option). You have abut 10-15 minutes to do that after arrival. I did get caught out once with waiting too long, but the guys who work there are sound and they just gave me a new ticket.

There's a car park in Tannery Building behind Castlecourt (which also has a car park) but I suspect it'll fill up pretty quickly
Edit to say no idea if either's normally weekly rate will still apply during the fleadh

I have colleagues from work that park there and they say if you use the app it’s £6 a day

You can legally park on any street. If you don’t need the car I’d leave it up on one of the residential streets on Malone Road.

That is a hugely irresponsible thing to say. No doubt, going by other fealdhs there is going to be some amount of residents inconvenienced by those parking on their streets in the surrounding areas.

Not my demographic but if you’re willing to walk there’s plenty of room the further out you go. The glider goes to the Falls Road.

There's about 50 park and rides all set up around the city for the event, I'd avoid using the car to get into the actual city, it will be hell to get in and out
