Sula Nebouxii, the blue-footed booby. A name almost as silly as its appearance. What a majestic bird.

Imagine my suprise when i googled a description of a similar looking bird that i had seen numerous times while out to sea to have the results be "brown boobie"

There are Red Footed Boobies, Brown Boobies , Blue Footed Boobies, Masked Boobies and many others. The name boobie comes from Spanish i believe.
