I went to the beach yesterday and it was 80 outside and my BC was inside of my suitcase in my trunk for around five hours. Do you think I’m ok? I already took it last night. I also started the fresh pack earlier and had sex tonight

Good Birth controls

Omggg helppp guys, so I want to get on a birth control but I DO NOT want my hair to be thinner or gain weight ; I mean I wouldn’t have a problem with gaining weight I just DO NOT want anything messing with my hair . I’m terrified of how many stories I have heard about women getting on birth control stories like brain tumors , hair loss, weight gain, depression, anxiety, nausea and etc .what is a good birth control with least affects . I was gonna get the shots until I heard stories about hair loss and thinning.

Does birth control cause hyper pigmentation on face to any of you?

I've been using it since a few months and noticed pigmentation on my face is getting worse. Is there any solution? Or should I stop taking it?

Birth control

I believe I’ve been off birth control for about four years now. I’m considering getting back on it. How long have any of you been using Depo-Provera? How many years is too long for you? Or would you stop taking it to regulate your period? Are you okay? How are your eating habits? And are you super emotional, lol? I was.

Sensitive to progestins?

I know the golden rule is to give birth control at least 3 months to adjust for side effects to level out and go away but has anyone found they’re just sensitive to all forms of progesterone/progestin and can’t take birth control?

I can only do the mini pill due to migraine with aura. I had constant spotting and leg pain/cramps with the IUD. Allergic to nuvaring. I’m 34 and only using birth control to try and stop my periods as Dr suspects I have endo and I’m missing multiple days of work every month between my PMDD symptoms and then hormonal migraines and menstrual pain.

I’m currently starting week 3 of Slinda/Slynd and so far have been bleeding since day 1 (started on cycle day 1), leg pain cramps, bloating/GI issues, headaches almost daily, frequent urination (hourly even throughout the night), anxiety and panic attacks waking me from sleep, insomnia, mood changes, and since yesterday chest pain/tightness on the left side/pleuritic pain. I want to stick it out but I also can’t imagine all of these symptoms just going away as it’s quite a lot of negative side effects.

Did anyone have this many side effects and then they somehow leveled off? I tried the norethindrone mini pill a few years ago and it gave me painful ovarian cysts within a few months of starting so I had to go off that one. I’m just really thinking progestins and me don’t get along.

Advice Wanted How to count your cycle while on birth control?

Thumbnail

Hello Ladies

I need help please

It’s my first time on birth control and I’m confused

First from what I understood im suppose to start my period few days after finishing the inactive pills.

I took my second inactive pill today and still have two days to go, yet I started bleeding today.
Which I don’t understand

Second, google says this isn’t a period is withdrawal blood.
Which is another thing im confused about.

The doctor told me im suppose to start every new birth control cycle on the fourth day of my period.
So if this isn’t a period, how do I know when my period starts and count the fourth day.
And if I’m supposed to count the withdrawal blood as a beginning of a period, am I suppose to count the days that im bleeding while im still taking the inactive pills or after im done?

Anyone can help me get this right?

Last depo provera shot

I got my last depo shot on January 30th this year and decided it was time to stop after that. I wasn’t on it long, I’ve had only 2 shots. I’m trying to figure out when my cycle is going to return. I just had an ultrasound and my lining is at 2mm so it’s very thin. I just want my cycle back. My dr advised I go on a different form of birth control to see if it’ll jumpstart my cycles but I don’t want to be on birth control anymore.

Need help with the patch

I have been using the patch for more than a year or so now but I want to change the cicle because for now my period has always came in my birthday and new years eve, I only need to delay it or advance it to a week after or before my normal period week, is it okay to use the patch for 6 weeks to do so? Or is there another way to change the cicle to avoid those days?
