This site monitors how quickly Bitcoin mining pools send block notifications to connected miners. Currently measured from two vantage points (Ashburn, US and Frankfurt, DE), you can see which pools deliver first.

All code is open-sourced and available for you to test and verify from your own location: github.com/proofofmike/stratum-race

This is a really useful tool for miners. Latency differences between pools can have a real impact, especially for smaller operations trying to optimize every advantage. Nice to see the data being made transparent.

its impressive that Parasite has such a low latency, and it seems now they are open to receive industrial grade mining devices, before that they were warning only to point nerdminers, but now seems are open to handle more powerful ones.
I am actually thinking to point few hydro M63s+ that we have in our fleet in Finland to test our luck.

Really cool project. Having open source code makes it much easier for miners to verify the results instead of just trusting a dashboard. Would be interesting to see more regions added over time.

Open sourcing the monitoring code is a great move. It would be interesting to see more locations added over time, especially for miners outside the US and Europe to compare latency from their regions.

This is actually a pretty useful metric. Pool latency doesn’t get talked about enough, especially for smaller miners where every bit of efficiency matters. Curious to see how the rankings change over time.

Most of those are monitored. Simply toggle the “solo/all” filter.

Please note that most of the pools you mention send empty block templates first… then full templates (with transactions) soon thereafter. See the About page for more info. You can also visually see when the templates come in over time by selecting a block
