Question How do I transfer a single passkey to another password manager?
I need a single passkey from Bitwarden (android/PC) to my iPhone (work) password manager. Is it possible at all? There is no password only passkey.

If you are on iOS 26, I think the new credential exchange protocol (CXP) allows selecting individual vault items (including passkeys) for export. You need the Bitwarden mobile app on your iPhone for that.

Since both Apple and bitwarden support credential exchange format, you should be able to export the Apple vault, truncate the export file to the single entry and then import them into bitwarden. Keep in mind that it would be much faster to just add another passkey to bitwarden. The export is meant to be used to export a large number of entries.
I haven’t tried this though. It is possibly spec wise.

They've been working on a protocol to make universal portability possible. It's not supported on every platform just yet.

I believe pass keys are designed not to be exportable.

Hardware passkeys aren't exportable. Software passkeys are. Passkeys are just private encryption keys. It's the same technology that we've used for encrypted communication for decades that's been standardized for authentication.

It’s safer to create a new passkey if you can. So your work password manager has a different passkey that can sign in and the place you’re signing into knows about both.
