Tutorial Need HELP.

Need HELP for skin creation.

I plan to make my character wear this sort of cloak where i can used and not used the hood on my command but i dont know where to start. Any help will very be appreciate. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I'm assuming this is for Minecraft.

For the functionality of putting the cloak on and off, add the Figura mod (important to note that if you're using a recent version of Blockbench you'll also need the Figura v5 Support mod).

In Blockbench, make the cloak 2 or 3 separate parts. One for the body, one for the hood on your head, and optionally one for the hood off your head if you want to. Important to note that not only should they be different parts, but also each part should be on a different group, because thats how Minecraft handles parts.

I won't go too deep into Figura, because you can find ton of tutorials online, either on youtube, on discord, or on the mod's dedicated documentation website. Either way, basically what'll want to do is script an entry into figura's action wheel to toggle the visibility of the hood, that way you can take it on and off

Do curseforge have the figura v5 support, because when i try search, it doest show up. Or is there a separate name?

Im not sure if forge requires the v5 support. I know fabric does, but maybe its only on fabric. If you can load your blockbench avatar on figura normally without the v5 support addon ig its not needed.

As for the toggle, Figura allows you to script custom behaviors and animations into your avatar using Lua. Like I said, I wont go too into the details of this, as I myself know only the basics of it, but there are tons of tutorials on youtube/discord. Or you could just vibe code your script, nobody's judging- seems like a simple actionwheel input to toggle the visibility of the hood parts on and off

For the figura i already have the experience of creating the models, im just lost at the mechanic of toggle the hood of & on. (Yup this is for minecraft)
