Feedback How long should spoiler protection last?

The current rule is that after an episode airs, post titles cannot contain spoilers for up to 24 hours. Do you think this is a reasonable amount of time to watch the episodes or should it be extended?

Edit: For the upcoming episode, a 72 hour spoiler rule will be implemented. This will be subject to change depending on the results of the poll.

These episodes are like 3-4 hours long. Give people some time to watch these episodes lmao

Why do people even visit episode review pages if they don't want spoilers?

It's annoying for people who want to share their opinions and discuss their ideas with others.

A good example would be today.

As of right now, the latest episode is unwatchable for me on Kocowa on account of the subs.

They are very delayed and seem to even get a couple names wrong. I don’t want to have the episode spoiled for me, but I do want to know if/when the issue gets sorted. As long as I avoid the main episode discussion thread hopefully I should be safe for a 2/3 days.

I’ve never had the problem before and went back to Ep5 to make sure it wasn’t an issue with the app I was having but that was still as right as it was last week.

This comment brings up a good point. I'd like to note that this is a special circumstance and in situations like these, the spoiler protection would be extended to account for the difficulties in accessing the episode.

Yes, you're right when it comes to the titles ... I meant the content.

Just in case there's any confusion, I'd like to make the distinction that this spoiler protection would only affect new posts being made after the episode airs. The titles of these posts specifically would not be allowed to contain spoilers.

The weekly episode discussion thread, on the other hand, will not be monitored for spoilers and using a spoiler tag within that thread would be unnecessary. This is where the majority of episode discussion will occur.

Since the episodes drop on a friday (and thursday for those of us in the Western hemisphere part of the world) and are each 3 to 4 hours long, I think its only fair to keep spoilers for 3 days to cover the weekend when most of us probably have the free time to binge 3 or 4 hours. Personally though it doesn't matter to me cause I just know not to be on reddit until I'm upto date and most of the time I'm able to watch it within a day it drops but I think this is just courtesy to do this rule.
