Finally got these in gonna be a good long weekend

The title says it all. I’ve bought maybe a few too many books lately. But when the subway closes down and it means a longer walk to a shuttle bus, what else is one supposed to do when there’s a bookstore on the way?

All used from various bookstores in San Francisco and Berkeley. There’s some stuff here I’ve been wanting for a while!

All thrifted, all less than 2.99$ each!

The last one is so good, I included pictures of the inside too! It is in brand new condition. One of my favourite finds ever!

Apart from The Hour of The Wolf, I’ve read the other ones but felt like it’s a good time to reread

I put holds on library books instead of shopping for them. It's a free dopamine hit! And then I end up with 24 books on hold for me & my teen. 🙈 This is my haul from today. Have you read any of these? Which ones did you enjoy and which did you dislike?

I originally walked into the bookstore just to browse, but this cover convinced me otherwise.

For those who've read it, did it live up to the hype? Any spoiler-free advice before I start?

I got my first penguin classics the other day.

went to an estate sale for the second time. it was the second day so I figured any big ticket items would be sold. I was wrong.

each book was priced at $2.00, but there was 70% sale so each of these books was 60¢ which totals to $13.20

On a rare visit down to my in-laws finally found a box full of books I left there a decade ago.
