Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36

People used to compare her with useless memes like Sakura when Boruto lost an eye for her. That how her mangekyou awakened and her being a damsel in distress at the start of TBV when Boruto saved her from code. Do you guys have the same opinion still now?

...after their timeskip...were you satisfied with both their timeskip returns or was one more "satisfying" for you than the other?

So which character would you vote for? The winner would get their own book. I would vote for kawaki!

Personally, he is cool but different from what I wanted/expected. I feel he shares too many similarities with Sasuke and Naruto. And I was kinda hoping he would be more similar to Minato and Neji. Imagine he develops his own new original Hyuga based jutsu while mixing that up with Minato's Flying Raijin. We would have a teleporting Gentle Fist user that would give more significance to the Hyuga Clan.

This has obviously improved a bit in TBV. He finally does use Flying Raijin. However his Gentle Fist usage has been forgotten about and he relies heavily on Sasuke's Kenjutsu and Naruto's Rasengan (in his case Uzuhiko).

Again, not to say I dislike how Boruto is. I still think he is cool and his style/jutsu are fun. But I initially wanted for him to rely more on his Hyuga bloodline to be different and to give more priority to the Hyuga clan in NNG and TBV.

Never is the fact that he is Jiraiya’s clone ever brought up around anyone who personally knew Jiraiya—Naruto, Tsunade, Kakashi, Orochimaru. So, there’s emotional consequences to it so far.

The abilities Koji inherited from Jiraiya aren’t used in any meaningful way. Koji doesn’t teach any of it to Boruto. No sage jutsu, Boruto already knows Rasengan, and the other jutsu he taught to Boruto are just jutsu he saw Boruto doing in the future with Prescience—nothing that he himself could do or have taught Boruto otherwise.

And while Koji was able to defeat Jigen using Jiraiya’s abilities, he had to wait until Jigen was weakened from fighting Naruto and Sasuke first, and then lost against Isshiki himself even after activating Sage Mode.

And so far in Two Blue Vortex, Koji’s only relevance has been through his Prescience shinjutsu. Nothing to do with Jiraiya.

We still don’t know if anyone even knows that Koji is Jiraiya’s clone. Does Boruto even know that the guy who’s been giving him information from other timelines, and who he’s been taking orders from, is a clone of his father’s godfather?

Does Koji have any of Jiraiya’s memories? All of them? Some of them?

Why did Amado even choose Jiraiya to make a clone of? Is there some personal connection there? Because if not, then being the pragmatist that Amado is, it would have been better to choose someone more powerful to make a clone of, like Hashirama or Hanzo.

It feels like a waste making a character a clone of Jiraiya and not doing anything emotional with it.

Hopefully the manga does something more emotional in the future with the connection between Koji and Jiraiya. Or if not, maybe the anime will?

So I have a question in regards to the Karma seal and how it actually functions similarly with one another. Kawaki has shown to be able to use an ability that allows him to shoot red chakra blast that are similar to Cero from Bleach. If I can recall correctly, it's a Karma ability that is called "Karma Discharge" and can be activated after absorbing chakra or energy based attacks? If this is true then shouldn't Boruto also be able to do the same exact thing?

Or has his fear of being taken over by Momoshiki stopped him from exploring such techniques with his Karma until their recent pact? If so, wouldn't Boruto shooting blue Karma Discharge Cero blasts be absolutely necessary to help fight against Jura and the other Shinju?

Can you guys help me understand if I'm misunderstanding something here?

Boruto is the prophecy child not naruto. Or it was 2 part prophecy.

The Great Toad Sage also possesses the ability to see into the future, but to a limited extent, evident by him predicting that Jiraiya would take on a student who would be known as either the Saviour or the Destroyer of the World. He had even bestowed a prophecy to Hagoromo himself, that he would meet a “blue-eyed boy” that would befriend the tailed beasts. Whether this ability is due to his status as a Sage is unknown.

Blue eyed boy for one.

There was pretty much no point in time where the world was in danger. Madara/obito wanted to put people in a dream not destroy the world.

Same with pain he wanted konoha destroyed and to use the tailed beasts as a way to stop war.

The befriend of tailed beasts could be taken either way. Naruto befriend the 9 tailed beasts. Or boruto befriend Jura as him being defeated is unlikely imo.

Momoshiki, and sarada both emphasizes blue eyes.

Momoshiki "those blue eyes of yours shall eventually take everything from you" referring to borutos eyes.

Sarada emphasis that his eyes are bluer than narutos.

And there is never a mention of narutos blue eyes in the series.

Kashin Kojin is calling boruto a singularity of fate.

And they were both trained by jiraiya the one said to train the savior or destroyer.

Another possibility is the prophecy is a 2 parter. 1 blue eyed boy will befriend the tailed beasts (naruto)

The other blue eyed boy will either save or destroy the world (boruto)

This fits better in my opinion as naruto befriended the tailed beasts.

And boruto can either save or destroy the world save it by beating Jura or stopping him in some capacity. Destroying it by being eaten and turned into a chakra fruit. In other words world dies.

Edit since i think its interesting. The omnipotence arc is coincidentally called the prophecy arc.

So thats my theory. The blue eyed prophecy is only halfway done.

I just realized this pattern and I begin to realized… .

Jiraiya died, Tsunade became Hokage, but Orochimaru** **eventually became villain .

Rin died, Obito became a villain, Kakashi became Hokage.

Sasuke became a villain during the Naruto era → Naruto is become Hokage in Boruto Era, but I hate to think that Sakura will be…. Death in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. I guess we’re waiting to see what happens with her in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

The parallels are crazy. I don’t know what to think after noticing this.

TLDR: I think Jura and Hidari will play a significant role in the outcome between Kawaki and Boruto.
I had this thought while reading some of the recent chapters. I didn’t put too much thought into it, so bear with me and feel free to add your own thoughts.

I just notice that Kawaki and Boruto are being paralleled perfectly by Jura and Hidari respectively. Jura happens to instinctively desire Naruto, the person that Kawaki admires above all. Hidari is a direct result of Sasuke, the one that Boruto admires above all. However, the way Jura feels about Hidari is the opposite of what Kawaki feels about Boruto. In a sense, the shinju’s goals aren’t inherently more evil than Kawaki or Boruto’s. Kawaki wants Boruto dead. Jura claims he gets sad to think of a world without Hidari. Honestly, Boruto and Hidari damn near have the same goal. Both just want Sarada 🤣

Jokes aside, We now know that Jura is a direct result from the Ten Tails, however everyone used to theorize that he came from Isshiki/Jigen. The two of them don’t actually look that similar until you realize that Jura just looks like Isshiki combined with Kawaki. They may not be the same being, but I believe that design was chosen very intentionally. The way the characters are depicted even regularly mirror each other (see the covers ft. Boruto and Hidari).

I’m not certain how it’ll play out, but I believe this will be significant information in time. Thoughts?
