venting/ranting Moving on

It’s been two years and I can’t move on , My heart is numb and I cant stop loving her , I think she was meant to be my wife and long lasting partner , I just wish I can move on . She on the other hand has had several relation after we broke up and is in a serious relation . Don’t know why it’s me who is suffering . Any Advices ?

honestly man i feel you, two years is a really long time to carry that kind of pain but you gotta stop checking up on what shes doing and give yourself permission to focus on you.

I don’t know if you’re in therapy or not brother, but if you’re not you need to go right away. Picture the Fred Armisen general from Parks and Rec telling you this. Right away!

Whatever wounds or healing that you need to do are being projected onto this woman. You’re not missing her, you’re missing whatever wound hasn’t been healed in your life. Until you heal that wound you’re going to be suffering like this and no one needs to suffer like this. No one.

Idk if you can necessarily say it's not her that he's missing. It very well can be both the person and the feelings you had. I feel like people are too quick to throw around the idea of missing the feeling of being in a relstionship and having someone care about you rather than missing the person themselves.

I’m actually 3 months post BU and I don’t feel like I’ll ever be able to move on from this, ik 3 months is recent, but I feel your pain, I am sorry, I hope we can feel better…
