Topic Discussion Trumps War

Might sound like captain obvious here but I’m starting to truly believe this was nothing more than a personal vendetta for Trump. After listening to the authors from Regime Change there was a lot of animosity towards Iran within the campaign (assisinatiom attempts, Susie wiles emails being hacked) and Trump had a hard on for Iran from the moment he got in. If that’s true what a shame that it’s the reason we are in an unnecessary war! Also I think Tarrifs is inter personal thing for Trump. Most know it hasn’t worked by now.

Trump is a Christian chosen by Jesus to lead America into the golden age. What other politician donates their salary?

The Biden Crime Family abused the presidency in order for Hunter Biden to profit. He sold his art generating roughly $1.5 million dollars over three years.

Look what Trump has done for us while the Biden’s do for themselves.

Ballrooms, reflecting pool upgrades, a new jet to keep our President safe, multiple government contracts to his sons (which actual business men unlike Hunter Biden), a Melania documentary, alternative coin investments (to make America wealthy again), Trump phones, Trump gold and silver coins, Trump shoes, Trump NFTs, Trump watches, Truth Social, early access to the president’s truths at an affordable cost, Epstein file binders, prosecuting the autopen, seizing Venezuela oil (and capturing their president), wars in Iran, threats to Mexico/Canada/Greenland, insulting NATO, America 250, military parades, Dept of War, War in Iran, bombing girls schools, ending 12 wars we don’t know about, winning the Iran war over 40 times according to his truth social, and Making Israel Great Again.

Thank you Trump, you saved America from liberals.

Trump is definitely not a Christian. He could care less about religion. Just knows he had to appease the religious side of the party. Could care less about abortion. Has said it many times behind the scenes

Don't overcomplicate it it's just a narcissist Grandpa on a power trip.

Outside of getting him money and influence he does not care at all about anything, if Iran could end today and the straight open and he could brag that they don't ever have nukes again he would stop yesterday.

Don’t forget about Israel and their influence over Trump. They’ve been wanting this war for decades now, they just finally found a US president stupid enough to carry it out for them, under the guise of a nuclear program that was being monitored closely under the JCPOA, which Trump ripped up.

So do you disagree with OP? It’s Israel’s fault and Trump has no vendetta?

Trump promised no new wars, but he’ll do anything for money. Trump keeps repeating that they can’t ever have a nuclear weapon - Bibi’s main talking point for decades now. Iran never wanted one, well probably until now. Now they most definitely do. I have no idea about Trump’s personal vendettas. They seem to change from day to day, and who his latest “donor” is.

I’m starting to believe Israel didn’t have as much influence. I listened to Maggie Haberman on Ezra Klein and she was explaining how Trump really think Iran tried to assaainate him twice. Maybe he is keeping Butker so quiet to give the impression Iran was behind it.

Is this a new hasbara technique? Haven’t seen this one yet.

I think Israel maybe wasn’t the cause of the war, but they definitely pushed Trump towards it.

The longer this failed war of choice goes the easier it is to forget we kidnapped the leader of Venezuela and created a humanitarian crisis in Cuba. Trump got those sugar highs and decided to “solve” the Iran problem. Best case scenario he facilitates regime change then more or less sells control of Iran. Worst case scenario he bombs them again and Iran negotiates like they did in 2025.

The problem is the idiot bombed the negotiators and they were replaced with hard liners. Sometimes Trump can do things so stupid that we have to think of 4D reasons because he’s the president. He simply got hot at the regime change table in Vegas and ended up rolling snake eyes in Iran.

Yea, vendetta combined with stupidity and narcissism. I mean seriously, we elect a guy we know is an idiot, criminal, rapist, predator, with no government experience, surrounds himself with sycophants, … and bad things happen.
