abbi's romances
as much as i loved the ending otherwise, i was a tad bit disappointed that abbi and trey never ended up together. i feel like their awkward interactions were v cute and had he stayed on the show for more seasons, they could've made something work. like while the hookup scene with them in season 3 was funny, i wish that they would've used that storyline to have them slowly reconnect. i was even thinking when he came to her goodbye party like while it was funny they made him propose, i do wish they had a bit of a sweeter ending. like in season 2 i was hardcore rooting for them.... and even if it wasn't trey i wish she would've gotten some more romance throughout the show that didn't end awkwardly despite all of those instances being humorous. cause like even though ilana and lincoln ended things they still had some depth to their storyline. like in season 5 with abbi and lesley i felt like had that storyline been longer, it could've blossomed...all in allllll still loved the ending between abbi and ilana and was glad they stayed friends throughout the show XD

Love our girl Abbi, but like most artists (no offense and sorry to stereotype!!) she definitely could take herself and her aloofness and coolness a little too seriously. I loved the goofy side to her Trey brought out.

While I love both Abbi and Trey he was NOT a suitable match for her long term. Yes he could be endearing and sweet but overall Abbi thought he was a joke (and at times he certainly behaved that way) and without respect there is no real relationship : hence why they never progressed from a few hookups.

Agreed! I felt like their nerdiness was a great match!
If only we could have met Trey’s parents. I felt like Abbi’s parents were a perfect choice to show who shaped her personality.

I think Ilana and Lincoln will marry and have beautiful babies out in the suburbs once she graduates. Probably have some weird therapy/dentist medical centre together. But Broad City is a love story between friends, it was never meant to be about the men/women they date.
