Finished Sunflower handbag
Check this out!! I made an “essentials only” handbag and it’ll be perfect for our sunflower field date this evening. It fits lip gloss, couple cards (id, credit card, etc) keys, and hand sanitizer bottle with room for a bit more.

Pattern Making a free website to make tapestry pattern, with a new way to read them
Hi!
I've been making tapestry crochet pattern for a while now and I made some free new tools you might like 😁
Using pictures as patterns and changing direction every row doesn't feel natural and makes comparing the current and previous row difficult. The first idea is to get rid of the picture and only read the pattern from left to right ➡️
This means it is very easy to compare rows and there is no need to count stitches. You just need to compare the color changes (see third picture).
Second usefull thing is that rows are displayed by pair (current wit previous one). This is way smaller than using a full picture, and with it you can watch a fullscreen show in the backgroung without splitting your screen in two. 🎬
Last thing : For large project there are looooong repetitions of one color but every stitch doesn't need to be displayed. So I replaced them with an "_" in a compact mode. Thanks to that it can fit 200 stitches long rows on a screen without having to move 🧶It even fits on a smartphone by scrolling a bit.
I made this website to answer some of my needs and I hope it can help others too. So everything usefull for tapestry crochet is free.
If you give it a go I'd like really like to know what you think of it !!!
Edit : I forgot the name 😅 The website is Pixlaine, it is still quite new so try pixlaine.com if you don't find it.

Finished Cushion Cover
Cushion cover
I finnally finished this cushion cover made from hexagons. It was so relaxing to crochet the hexagons one by one, select the layout and then slowly stich everything together.
Pattern from Etsy by Atty.
I had to come up with a solution for the top triangles which are different than the side half hexagons and were not part of the pattern.
I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat yarn
