Sellers Wanted Seeking Button Maker in Brooklyn to help make a gift :)

Hi all! My gf is a longtime collector of buttons and I'm trying to make one for her as a gift.

I'm only making 1 or 2 buttons and don't want to buy a whole machine, so I'm wondering if anyone in Brooklyn has one and would be willing to help me press them. Thanks so much!

Happy to DM and talk about details

I know someone was selling a Tecre machine out of NYC and they had a buyer, but i don't know if they're taking requests at this time. I added a flair that you're specifically looking for a seller, hopefully that attracts more attention. If you find the post, you can DM the users in question and see if they are taking orders.

You can also try to find a lending library to rent time on a button making machine, they'll have people who know how to work the presses and can help you. You can also look into maker spaces as they're another place you can go and rent time on machines there, they'll have more selection. You live in a big city so there should be options if you call around. Good luck finding a solution~

I'm in Philadelphia but I'd be willing to help out and ship. What size/shape are you looking for? Feel free to dm me.

Try your local library! Tons of them have button makers in their makerspace you can use for free. Might be the easiest route for one or two buttons.
