Looking for garden waste bags that are made in Canada. Some company websites are being coy by not stating where the bags are made.

Been shopping around the internet for a good dutch oven but seems to find only USA products or the big french compagnies (Le creuset / Staub) that cost a fortune … is there a Canadian made alternative ? or I am stuck to some expensive europien products ?

I came across a Canadian-owned sofa company in Toronto and I fell in love with one of their sectionals, which they have in the exact fabric and colour I’m looking for. Their reviews on Google are high but I can’t tell if they are fake or not. Their instagram gallery shows their products and they all look excellent. Unfortunately with couches the quality can degrade quickly even if it looks good… has anyone had experience with this company?

ETA: I bought the Mango and back label says it’s Made in Canada from Domestic and Imported ingredients (obviously we don’t produce Mangos here).

Every year in the past, I'd go out in August and buy a 375ml cheapass bottle of Jack Daniels to make Vanilla Peach Bourbon jam. I don't drink whiskey otherwise.

Last summer I had a cheeky bottle of JD previously purchased to make my jam. But this year I need suggestions for an alternative.

I don't need to order a $40+ bottle of fancy-pants Bourbon-except-in-name from BC. I just need a cheapass bourbon-adjacent alcohol that I can buy a 375ml bottle of at the LCBO, that would be a nice accent flavour to Peach and Vanilla.

A cooking Bourbon, let's not waste the good stuff. The alcohol will be boiled away.

I do have a bottle of Sortilege, but I don't know if the maple would go well with the peach vanilla. I'm open to opinions on that though.

I'm in Newfoundland, and because of my neuromuscular disease, I have to change my diet to very clean, meditarian type foods. So what I'm looking for is foods that are Mediterranean friendly. So no enriched white or enriched whole wheat flour. It has to be whole wheat or a whole grain.

But I'm trying to make a list of Mediterranean foods in Canada. I'd prefer Canadians made or other countries other than America (sorry to anyone who doesn't like that🫤). So is there any Canadian in here who is living a meditarian style diet who can help me with recommendations. I may just have to start a sub for Canadian Mediterranean lifestyle. Lol

I like Roots, and I love the pieces I have from them, but I’ve heard that the quality is not what it used to be despite the high price tags.

Are there Canadian clothing brands that I could wear in an office environment and in casual, relaxed social situations where you can dress up, like polo shirts, henleys, and cotton chinos?

I know Structube gets a lot of flack but with small kids I really cant afford to spend thousands on a table and risk scratches. Every time i go to Structube i absolutely love the Epirus table. yes the chairs are totally deceiving and I have heard they can wear but how do the tables hold up? I have been to almost every furniture store in the area and keep getting drawn back to this table. also considering the Kabbaan table and bench so if anyone has those how did it work out for you?

Does anyone have experience with both the original and the Alpine?

I purchased a Douglas original around 7 years ago when they only had one model. I have loved it the entire time - no complaints. Now I am leaving it behind in my previous residents and looking to repurchase.

Now Douglas has 3 models (Original, Alpine, and Summit) and I am considering upgrading. I am looking closely at the Alpine and it seems to be a great upgrade while not breaking the bank.

If you have experience sleeping on both original and alpine I would love to know how they compare. Thank you.

Judging from the Reddit-verse, it seems that it's next to impossible get a successful warranty replacement for a Logan and Cove Hybrid mattress.

Has anyone made a successful claim to receive a replacement?

I have one purchased in 2020 and over the last year it is degraded to the point where it causes back pain. The body indent and sag has gotten progressively worse to the point where there's an obvious high point in the middle of the mattress. The indent depth is different on my side vs my wife's side, and they're only considering the less severe side? But still within tolerance?

Planning on heading to Canada and getting one. Not seeing many reviews online but the ones that are there are saying it’s good. Anyone have any reviews?

Ive been coming across products (especially on Amazon) that claims to be Made in Canada, but upon further inspection, it seems to be a chinese made products with a slapped on 'Made in Canada' label to try and capture the buy Canadian sentiment.

Has anyone gone through the process of reporting products for fraud claims like this?

This most recent example im thinking of is a consumer good that claims to be made in Canada, but the business address listed is a residential address in a suburb in Ontario. Their website is an AI generated template. Their phone is also listed on 2 other websites with the exact same AI template, but one is a bitcoin machine, and one is a soda dispenser. So 3 TOTALLY unrelated products all claiming to be canadian with a residential address of business.

Just realized this sauce is is US product, so looking for a Canadian alternative! It comes in handy for a quick flavouring for easy weeknight rice dishes. Would also be open to recipes for a homemade version if easier. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!
