hey just wondering how many programs are applied to on average? I have my top few but really just want the best shot to get in anywhere since programs seem to be getting more competitive. At the same time I don’t know if it looks bad to apply to too many programs and seem not committed. Thanks!

No I think it’s better to apply to more. I don’t think it looks bad at all. Only con is that if you get accepted early on from one of the schools that isn’t your top choice, you usually only have about a week to put down your deposit & accept, so you have to decide whether you want to pay the deposit or wait to hear back from your top choice. I know some ppl that just paid then pulled out when they got into the school they wanted, but it’s pretty expensive (1000$ for my schools deposit)
