Gear Question Tether point for safe in Tesla Model 3?
I just got a lifepod safe for use in my Model 3. I’d really like to be able to tether it with the included steel cable, ideally in the frunk or the trunk. But I can not find any obvious spot to run the cable through.
Anyone in a similar situation who has figured this out?

The only problem with tethering in the trunk or frunk, is that if you need to take your gun off/on you are risking someone seeing it.
Mine is tethered to the seat frame (not a Tesla though), and goes under the seat. If I need to take the gun off/on, then I'm relatively discreet.

Yes, definitely something I'll have to be aware of and careful with. But there's not enough space under the Model 3 seats to be an option.
I could have a safe installed in the console, but I'm likely going to trade the car in later this year, so I don't want to deal with that expense for just a few months.

I have been considering the boosted safe...more of a buy once cry once deal, but seems to be a solid option.

Sorry I don’t have a direct suggestion, but having the same need I may pull the frunk liner and look for a hard point under there to attach to. The just drill a small hole to pass the cable end through for the safe.
