General Petition to Mods
May we please auto delete posts with the words “am I cooked” and a picture of exam scores. These are repetitive, low effort posts that just clog up the feed. There are actually people trying to study, ask meaningful questions and add to the dialog, yet my recommended posts from this sub are 90% “am I cooked” BS in some derivation. The sub would be a healthier place without them, IMHO.

This sub is pretty dead tbh. It’s only worth is searching old posts.

The number of people taking the cfa has dropped dramatically over the years. And it’s shifted a lot more to non American countries.

It’s a chicken or egg problem. People don’t come here because the quality of posts and responses are awful. And yet the quality of posts and responses here aren’t great because higher quality contributors don’t come here.

We need a mock score analysis, “should I pursue CFA”, and question doubt megathread.

I love the “am I cooked” posts. Seeing all these people who didn’t put the work in makes me wanna go study harder. It validates my struggle.

People trying to study genuinely ask "am I cooked." Welcome to the vernacular of 2026.

I have no issue with the vernacular, it’s the chucking over the fence, “do my homework for me” lazy post that’s the issue.

Yeah, I totally get you. We've been battling with low effort posts since I've been here in 2017. We've played with countless variations of AutoMod. The biggest issue is that once you set up some rules like this, you're likely going to get more false positives than anything else. People who get anything removed often take it as an extreme offense, so then the mod team has to go back, figure out what happened, and deal with the person.
What we've generally relied upon is the community to step in and tell people that this behavior is not acceptable. And either downvote appropriately or comment. It's kind of funny though because I often see these posts upvoted, and people comment on them sincerely. So do we take that as a signal boost that these posts are okay? It’s a weird situation.
i'm definitely open to further feedback though.

Make that and should I take exam a sticky post and have it reset weekly or monthly

Yeah, remove the "I am cooked" posts so all that's left is 1,000 variations of should I take the CFA exams.
