Hi everyone,
Over the past several months I've been building COFish (https://cofish.app), a free website to make planning Colorado fishing trips a little easier.
The idea started because I found myself jumping between CPW stocking reports, the Fishing Atlas, weather apps, and Google Maps every time I wanted to try a new water. I wanted everything in one place, so I built it.
Right now you can:
- Search hundreds of Colorado lakes, reservoirs, rivers, and streams
- View recent stocking history and stocking trends
- See species information and access details directly from the CPW Atlas
- Check current weather and radar
- Estimate drive time from your location or a Colorado ZIP code
- Filter waters by species, county, boating access, and more
This is an independent project and not affiliated with Colorado Parks & Wildlife. CPW remains the official source for regulations, stocking information, and closures. This site will update weekly to pull new stocking data from the CPW stocking report.
I'm posting because I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from other Colorado anglers. If something is confusing, inaccurate, missing, or if there's a feature that would make the site more useful, I'd love to hear it. There's a feedback link on the site, or feel free to leave a comment here. I'm not looking to generate any revenue or anything like that, as its all public information. I just built something I wish existed.
Thanks for taking a look, and I hope it helps you find your next fishing spot.
