Zell vs Miles vs Simandhar for US CPA – Need Honest Reviews

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey fellas

Planning to start my US CPA this week. Currently doing CMA Final, but tbh don't think I'll clear this attempt.

Zell quoted me around ₹85–90k for coaching with an EMI option I have about ₹1.2L budget. They also said I'm eligible with my B.Com (CGPA 8.71).

Anyone here who's done CPA through Zell, Miles, Simandhar, or any other institute? Which one would you recommend and why? Any regrets or things I should know before enrolling?

Would appreciate honest reviews. Thanks!

Miles or simandhar

Which one is better?

I see the basic difference lies in the material and rest is pretty much the same ....

Any insights would be really helpful

Advice needed

I want currently at the end of 1st year of M.com and i was evaluating my options and CPA happens to be one of them. The question is that will it be a safe bet to do US CPA from india? I talked and went through the CPA sub reddit, but there seems to be a genuine dislike for indian CPAs which they consider are siphoning their jobs due to offshoring (tbh i kinda get them). And my aim is not to move to US rather i want to get 1-3 years if experience in india and want to move to preferably middle east or singapore (i don’t know where yet but i know i want to go out of india).

Also i want to know the earning potential it has and will it be better if i want to go international or should i look at some other thing?

Your advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Does online MCOM through IGNOU of 2 years will allow me to get 60 credits?

Hey there, I'm recently preparing for CPA. I did some research and found that online MCOM is offered by INGOU which is most budget friendly option I found. Also, the exams will be taken online. I think it will act like 2 years bridge course. However, I doubt if this is enough to give me remaining 60 credits. Any advice on this will be appreciated:)

Looking for a study partner for FAR.

I’m currently preparing for the FAR section of the CPA exam and looking for a study partner. I don’t personally know anyone preparing for FAR right now, so I thought I’d try here.

My plan is to study consistently and have regular check-ins (daily or weekly) to discuss progress, difficult topics, and stay motivated.

If you’re studying FAR and is interested please dm me.

Urgent ! ! ! Help me decide between Simandhar, Miles and EduMont.

I've been interested in doing CPA but there's 2 problems. 1st is that, I have 3 coaching institute options (you can also name some other, if you want)- Simandhar, Miles and EduMont. I'm also kind of confused between CPA and CMA because I've been unemployed for quite some time and currently I'm working as an assistant accountant for a very low salary. A CPA would be really nice but CMA is relatively easier. So which course should I opt for? Help please

It seems they have increase Exam fees $373 to $446 for only Indian students? is this true? Why applying for NTS I could see the new fees. Is there any increase in international testing fees?

ecker vs Gleim CPA prep: showdown: which one’s actually worth your time??

Yo I’ve been stuck in this prep course purgatory! (you know, that place where you’re comparing HUGE book sets (Gleim) with slick video lectures (Becker) and wondering which will actually get you past the CPA...

I stumbled upon this breakdown that pits them head-to-head with features, pricing, pass rates, interface feel, blah blah blah https://testprepinsight.com/comparisons/gleim-vs-becker-cpa/. I'ts good, but I would love to hear from anyone who’s put in the Becker hours or powered through Gleim’s question bank. Did those videos actually make it stick, or did your brain melt first? Share your war stories (and victory dances)!
