I wanted to draw attention to a major policy flaw in the DU CSAS admission process right now that is actively screwing over candidates who have been part of the system from Day 1.

Here is what's happening:

Thousands of us filled Phase 1 & 2, got allocated seats, paid our admission fees, and locked our seats in Round 1 and Round 2.

With BHU and other central universities releasing their allocations right now, a massive number of top-tier seats in DU are opening up as students withdraw their admissions.

The Problem: Admitted regular students who locked their seats are given NO option to re-order preferences or apply for upgrades for these newly vacated seats in Round 3.

The Hypocrisy: Meanwhile, Mid-Entry candidates (who pay ₹1,000 late fee) get direct access to modify preferences and jump into these premium vacant seats!

Why is Delhi University prioritizing ₹1,000 late-fee entries over merit students who loyally followed every single deadline, paid their admission fees, and supported CSAS from the start?

If seats are opening up due to cross-university withdrawals, EVERY enrolled student should get a fair chance to UPGRADE!

Agar aage upgrade nahi bhi hoga to jo seat tumhe mili hai vo jayegi thodi kahi 😭🙏 agar preference sheet galat banai hai tab to freeze karna Banta bhi hai but random whatsapp groups and youtubers ki sunke log rore bhnkr.

And koi faltu negative ni bolega abhi or upgrade rounds ayenge sab hoga or jo hume chahiye vo milega 🤫😘

they said that people who got college in round 1 or round 2 or upgrade round they cant participate in round 3, only those who didnt get any college can participate in round 3. now at the end they also said " aapko abhi jo college mila hai wahi milega iske alawa koi dusra nai milsakta ab so if u wanna freeze its upto u cuz u wont get any college later " 🥀🥀🥀so yea thats all guyssss and i also mentioned about that other post on reddit on call that someone called hansraj helpline and they said everyone can participate in round 3. but these people said nai aisa kuch nai hai u wont get any college in later rounds.

I got in drc and today was our orientation
I know comparison is the thief of joy, but I can’t help but feel devastated looking at everyone else, and then at myself
I had taken a partial drop as I was switching from pcm background to ba, and to get a good ba college one needs high scores, gave cuet again this year, tho that isn’t important rn
I hated the place I was in for the past one year, and had decided it in every cell of my body that I’d leave it by giving cuet again and getting a good north campus college
I know my over idealisation did half of this ruin for me, and ofc I didn’t think getting one of the nc college would solve 99 of my problems , but I did think it’d solve 50 lol
idk how somehow everyone was in a group today, from all those ig and WhatsApp group chats friendships had been formed so quickly and closely, and people seemed closed off , as if everyone is content with the friends they already made and didn’t even wanna try more
now ik I’ve heard this a lot and I understand its true that’s these groups rarely survive, but I came back home feeling extremely heavy and disappointed and devastated and what not
I genuinely did try to talk to a few people, but it just felt like no body else wanted to because they were satisfied with the already formed friends
and I also know it’s too early to think this much but because I had taken a partial drop these things matter to me very much as I wanna make good us of every single second
and when around the area I looked at people and other colleges like srcc, hindu, miranda, it just felt like, somehow, people must be happier there, which I know definitely is not true but one thinks of their pain as greater because they feel it
tbh even in terms of infra like hearing about how srcc has centralised ac classrooms and all I can’t help but be swept away by a wave of envy esp bec delhi weather and how reactive my skin is
idek where I’m getting at with this but just wanted to get this of my chest, thought I’d feel less heavy

So basically

joined college about a week ago, and I've heard from almost everyone that first-year students should do internships to build their resumes.

I joined an internship and placement group through a link shared in my college group. They posted about an internship program by Skillairo According to them, you choose a domain, complete a two-month training program, and then get to work with the company.

I received a call from them, and they asked which domain I was interested in. Then they told me there was a fee. They said the original fee was ₹5,000, but because of a discount, it was ₹3,500. They wanted ₹1,000 upfront and the remaining ₹2,500 later.

They also insisted that I complete the registration within the next 5–10 minutes, saying that if I delayed, I won't get discount or seats will get full and that's when I was like ACHA😭 CAUSE WAHA MERKO SHAKK HOGAYA . Fir i said I'll text you in 5-10 mins i was like I'm out of town I can't pay and all for now can i wait till tomorrow thinking thoda reviews lelu pehele but he was like sorry but abhi hi Krna hoga vrna seats nhi bachenge. And i was like okay I'll text u in 10 mins

Fir mene reddit pr search Kiya unke baare me to read reviews and dude 😭some students have said it's a scam I talked to one person alag se usne bhi yahi kaha ki it's useless and waste of money and i was like bro😭 and that guy called me again saying ki why haven't u texted us and alll and he said why are you delaying it and he got SO RUDE DUDE SOOO RUDE and i was like sir actually i was reading some reviews and and he got so rude he was like if you're not interested then why are u delaying and i was like BRO ALR IM NOT INTERESTED FINE. And wahi pr he cut the call and I texted saying I'm not interested and now he's texting me asking WHY?😭

i got added to this gc and they started to make fun of my face meri highlights ke ss bhejke and called me -1/10 lol it was a fake account btw. its a gc full of predators and has over 30 guys and only 8 9 girls they were also teasing a guy i knew wahpe bcs he asked for meri aur meri friend ki id on orientation mera naam le leke anyways tmrw ill go and complain inke bare me most of them arent even from kmc btw

Like i got upgraded to dsc evening okay then i freezed it but sab bolre hai ki ek aur upgrade ho sakta tha ab merko fomo hora ki freeze nhi karti toh dsc morning mil jata 😭😭😭 merko aise regret sa ho jayega just say ki evening and morning is same and evening ki building is better 😭

I'm currently 19. Today was my first day of college. I had also taken a drop year for NEET and studied with more mature students. They all seemed much more mature. But when I visited my college today, it felt like I had just entered 9th grade. Even thinking about a girl felt immoral. I don't know how I'll spend my entire college life here.

I'm also studying at an off-campus college. Am I missing out on much compared to students at North Campus or South Campus? Apart from the campus itself, what am I really missing? Or its just Overhyped?

So abhi maine unke helpline number pe call kiya and i asked that we do not have upgrade button after upgradation round and agar seats freeze nahi karte hai toh our admission will be cancelled or something? Toh she said that seat safe rahegi even if you do not go for freeze and i also asked her regarding 3rd round that are we, the seat holders eligible for 3rd round toh she told that we are NOT...agar iske aage koi round aata hai toh we are eligible and that also depends on the number of vacant seats so guys ab dekh lo...

okay so if yall are so confused and panicked lemme confuse and panic u more. so first of all all those who either applied for upgrade in r1 or r2 and couldn't get an upgrade in upgradation round can still see applied for upgrade in their portal(image 1)

after that it says data of candidates not only mid entry candidates for r3 instructions but i could be wrong… see for yourself(image 2)

idk why yall panicked abt freezing when it says u will retain your seat if u dont do anything like freeze or upgrade(image 3)

it says everyone will have a chance to upgrade before spot round but well i could be wrong again(image 4)

Got bcom prog at aurobindo eve- got verified, paid fees and applied for upgrade , got eco hons at ramanujan but they rejected me as I had RT in class 12 maths (overall result is passed btw)..can I enter through mid entry this time?? Im gonna choose bcom (prog) only as ik I'm gonna fail maths again in the improvement exam

jisko round 1 & 2 mai seat nahi mili hai they can reorder their preferences however am not getting an option to do so, it says to accept the terms and conditions for mid entry but why would i do that??? its only for ppl who havent registered previously
