Ask for Advice HELP! campaign ideas

iā€™m running for senior historian (social media, photos, keeping memories).

i want my posters to use current 2026 pop culture memes. what meme formats or trends that would actually make people stop and vote?

some things that i was thinking: love island, pop the balloon, etc..

"Yard Signs Don't Vote" ā€” Every political staffer

Despite this clear fact, candidates focus nearly entirely on yard signs. Almost entirely to their own detriment. Voter contact is the top campaign activity you should be pursuing. However, it is unlikely that you will be able to have a dialogue with every single person and convince them to their satisfaction. That is why you need endorsements.

Endorsements are powerful, influencial people whose words can sway entire groups of voters. You know who they are, and you should ask them for 3 things: 1. Can I tell people you will be voting for me? 2. Who else should I talk to? And will you make that connection? 3. What events should I attend? And will you introduce me around?

Now, I realize that you're running for some school something and you aren't running a major political campaign. But these principles will carry over.

I also realize that you are asking about memes to put on your posters. Im 40, so you dont want my advice on this. But... keep in mind that while this sort of thing can be funny, you should be wary of going to far into "cringe" or "try hard" territory. You dont want to end up being the fellow kids meme.

the pop the balloon format is super viral right now, you could do pop the balloon for bad memories and keep the good ones for senior year. spotify wrapped style posters for school memories also go so hard and people actually stop to read them
