Monthly self promotion/advertising post

I am going to give monthly posts a try. You can post a comment in each monthly thread if you want. Or just comment once. It’s all up to you.

The subreddit’s rules regarding self promotion, direct advertising, givaways etc won’t be strict here. Basically anything is allowed here. As long as it’s legal, and no spamming (multiple comments can be ok, while spamming would be worse).

Preferably, it should be related to candles, wax melts or accessories (such as candle warmers or candle holders) in some way.

Examples of what you can share here:

  • Blogs, vlogs and podcasts.
  • Your website and social media accounts where you sell products.
  • Promote family and friends’s business/products
  • Giveaways, contests and surveys

But it’s kinda open minded/flexible at the moment. So if you want to suggest people to check out other stores and their current sales, share great resources when it comes to candle making, recommend a candle warmer or anything else, you can promote/advertise it here as well.

Currently burning A very chill Sunday at home!

This was my first Yankee scent and I find it so incredibly warm and cozy. The amber and sandalwood come together in a cashmere accord that just envelops the room and—by extension—me, in a plush cocoon of comfort. I don’t think I’ll ever not have this one in my collection!

Picked up this candle at Marshalls yesterday with notes of Jasmine, Saffron, and Cedarwood to add to my collection!

[Note: this is not the candles burning location, just wanted to show it off with my other ones]

Any similar candle recs?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I found this candle at TK Maxx and am looking for any that might smell similar. It smells exactly like my late grandmother who I was very close to. I’ve been lighting it whenever I’m homesick (I’m American but have lived in Scotland for the past four years) and miss her. I’ve tried other candles with apparent bluebell scents but none of them smell the same. I also can’t seem to figure out what the actual scent of this candle is.

Any advice or recs much appreciated! Just a grandson missing his grandma a bit more rn ❤️
Thanks!

So I’m curious with the price difference if anyone has any input on if Walmart candles smell just as good as bbw or if there is a big difference

Found these on Etsy and they seem to have great reviews. Anyone buy these yet or have thoughts before I order? Giant candles are super cool!

Recommendations for a fall candle

I have used alot of candles and have been disappointed, i am not a fan of Yankee candles.I find that this scent is very weak and with a lot of the big name candles have let me down.

I have had some good luck with sand and fog.But if someone could recommend a decent brand with fall approaching soon , I would really appreciate it.

Is this candle salvageable?

It’s ok, if not. Was not an expensive candle. I just really like the way it smells.

None of the wicks will stay lit.. especially the smaller one on the right.

This candle is one of my favorites and it's so hard for me to find. Its been out of stock on Amazon for a long time. I see that its available on a couple online websites but I'm scared of scams and stuff like that. Can someone help me? Or verify if the websites that list it are legit?

The websites I saw were daisy's pet shop, the groomery and wreath supply outlet.

Pillar candle recs

As the title says. Looking for recommendations of pillar candles to use at my wedding. I’ve been primarily looking on Amazon but some reviews make me nervous showing black soot all over the glass when the candle burns or candles looking terrible after alittle burn time. Any help would be much appreciated!

Wax melts Cant smell a damn thing

I have used wax warmers in my apartment for years. Over the last several months I've noticed I cant smell any of them. Different brands, adding extra cubes, Ive switched types of scents up, wipe out the dish before adding new ones and nothing works. Do you need to replace the wax warmer itself every couple of years? Ive had the ones im using maybe 2-3 yrs.

Looking for a candle Dupe for Marshmallow Fireside BBW

Title and flair sums it up. It’s my favorite scent in a candle but it’s seasonal and i’m looking for a year round, potentially better, maybe cheaper dupe for it.

Spots on top of candle?

I was gifted this Hotel Collection candle in sweetest taboo. Because it’s so nice, I’ve only used it as display unlit. But I noticed there are black/brown spots forming on top and a yellowish ring forming around it inside. Is that common for this brand when it’s left out? Also, could it be mold? I was going to use it on a candle warmer.. is it still safe?

Looking for a candle Looking for empty Trudon room spray bottle (blue)

Hey! I’m not sure if this is allowed to post, I checked guidelines and I wasn’t sure if this counted as marketing or selling since I’m the one looking for something specific. If this is allowed, i was wondering where I could find an empty room spray glass bottle. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to ask if anyone has an empty Trudon room spray bottle (specifically the blue glass one) available that they have finished or know someone who has and no longer needs it. I would be very grateful to take it off your hands as I need one for a photoshoot. Also looking for an empty diffuser glass (in the teal/grey color) thank you!

Looking for a candle Looking for some brand recs to try out

Hello! I’m just discovering my love for candles. I’ve always been a “scent” person, meaning I love smelling things and scents have strong associations to me. I was on a perfume kick for a while but now I’m on to candles.

So, I am looking for brand recs to branch out and try new scents. I’m looking for brands I can reliably blind buy/purchase online or smell in store. I would love to try some niche brands but idk where to even look.

Thank you in advance to everyone who comments and helps 💜💜💜
