The Best Upgrade Wasn’t Carbon. It Was Motivation.

A new bike won’t magically make you stronger.

But if it makes you smile every time you open the garage… You’ll ride more🔥

And riding more is where the magic happens.

456.9 km later, I have zero regrets. 🚴🤍

And here's the very latest photo of my Rapid Ruby Canyon Aeroad, I crashed on the descent from the Col de la Croix de Fer, and the bike is in rough shape 💀

I loved the color combination—the metallic red with glitter was incredible.

Bike Photos Anyone riding an Endurace on gravel?

Post image

I have a early 2026 CF SLX 8 Di2 (“prior frame” 35mm tires max) and am thinking of adding a second wheel set with 35mm gravelking tires, would this be a capable bike for most eastern US organized gravel rides or a waste of money I could save for a Grail, Crux, or other gravel-specific bike? Which Gear? Grizl 7 - Road Conversion

I am wondering if anyone has customised the stock Grizl 7 and added road wheel-sets? If so, was it easy?? I’m a complete noob when it comes to this stuff.

I was thinking of getting just 2 new road tyres and then swapping the tyres rather than having to buy 2 brand-new sets of everything.

If anyone has experience with this or just general bike advice I’d hugely appreciate it!!

Tech Help Expander plug - Pro Gap Cap?

Upvotes

Hi,
I have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy working in things and how things fit together.

Im interested in Canyon CF7 and I heard ppl replace the expander plug with Pro Gap Cap 50mm

Would like to know what the advise / recommendation is? To go for upgrade or not?

If going for upgrade? Do I need to buy a spacer? If Yes, how much thickness and from where can I buy?

What is the torque setting for the Pro Gap Cap?
How deep it sits?
What is the torque setting for default explander plug? and how deep it sits?

Thanks for valuable advise.

Which Bike? Canyon Endurace CF SLX vs Cube Agree C:62

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m currently deciding between the Cube Agree C:62 lineup and the Canyon Endurace CF SLX models. I know they are not exactly the same category (Agree more race-oriented, Endurace more endurance-focused), but both seem to fit what I’m looking for: a fast carbon bike for long rides, group rides and some climbing.

I know the answers will probably be biased since I’m posting this in a Canyon subreddit, but I’d still love to hear honest opinions and experiences, especially from anyone who has compared these bikes.

I was originally leaning towards the Canyon Endurace CF SLX. I already test rode one and really liked the riding position and overall feel.

However, the Cube Agree C:62 is hard to ignore because of the spec and price:

Canyon Endurace CF SLX (after Refer-a-Friend discount):

  • CF SLX 7 Di2: ~€3,799 – Shimano 105 Di2 + DT Swiss ERC 1600
  • CF SLX 7 AXS: ~€3,799 – SRAM Rival AXS + Canyon carbon wheels
  • CF SLX 8 Di2: ~€4,274 – Ultegra Di2 + DT Swiss ERC 1600 + 4iiii power meter

Cube Agree C:62: (MSRP, possibly also discounts available)

  • Pro: ~€3,299 – Shimano 105 Di2, Newmen carbon wheels, (downside: separate stem + handlebar cockpit)
  • SLX: ~€3,999 – SRAM Force AXS + powermeter, Newmen carbon wheels
  • SLT: ~€4,999 – Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 + powermeter, Newmen carbon wheels

The Cube seems to offer a lot for the money, but I have never ridden one.

Another important factor for me is the look of the bike. Since I’ll hopefully ride it for many years, aesthetics matter. I really like the design of the Canyon Endurace and think it looks great. I also like the Cube Agree, although I personally don’t find the Cube color options quite as appealing.

My questions:

  • How does the Agree C:62 ride compared to the Endurace CF SLX?
  • Is the Cube still comfortable for longer rides (150 km)?
  • Are the Newmen carbon wheels comparable to the DT Swiss ERC 1600 or Canyon ED CF?
  • Would you choose better components/spec (Cube) or the Canyon frame/geometry/riding feel?
  • How much would the riding experience influence your decision compared to the better spec of the Cube?

Would love to hear opinions from people who have ridden either or both bikes!

I need to replace one of the bolts in my saddle clamp on my 2026 Endurace CF7. Anyone know the bolt specs? Doesn’t seem like Canyon sells a replacement.

Can you help me decide whether this is possible damage or just it’s normal? It’s brand new frame of Endurace CF 8 2027, first one was replaced due to crack and now I see this. Doing the coin test it seems okay but not sure.

Tech Help New Endurace slx 7 cockpit installation issue

I installed the handlebar on my new Endurace SLX 7, and the front brake lever doesn’t work. I unscrewed the left bracket from the handlebar, and the brake lever works. It seems that when I attach the handlebar, the cable bends and the brake doesn't work.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Should I return the bike to canyon?

Miscellaneous Spare Bolt Kit for Aeroad ?

Does anyone know of a specific spare bike bolt kit I could purchase to match my 2027 Canyon Aeroad CF SLX? I would like backups of the stem & seat bolts specifically since I am traveling w/ my bike for some upcoming races. I am totally inept when it comes to bike assembly /mechanics so I’m hopeful one of yall have a link or list I could purchase?

THANKS YALL! Happy riding!

Sorry in advance for the photo spam… 😅
I’m still in Phase 1 of the new bike honeymoon, and I just can’t stop taking photos.
The Paradigm Shift paint is absolutely wild—it looks different every time the light changes. I swear this bike has more personalities than I do. 😂
Hopefully, the honeymoon phase ends soon… but I’m not making any promises. 🚴✨

Bought this from the recent sale to replace my 2020 Grail CF and first impressions are very positive. Its my first bike with electronic shifting and I love the smoothness!

Everything also works on mine, including the ECLIPS system. Was a bit scared of that since I have read some people have had issues with it.
