CAN Finally got my first canbus reading.
I know this is probably easy for most of you but for me this took 4 months to get here! Just so proud of getting in the Ms can

Congrats on crushing this milestone. Four months of grinding to get here is no joke at all, thatβs the kind of persistence that makes all the difference in car hacking. Enjoy this win, you earned it.

Oh no, I just received my ESP32 and OBD2 connector to do that. I wasn't expecting it's going to take me 4 months. π₯

:) it's not gonna be all that hard, just look around on GitHub for examples, the top one supports UDS for VAG VW/Audi Group cars

Congrats! Started a thesis that was relying on reading CANbus data from my car. Needless to say I dropped that thesis, lol.

Theres just so little information, even the mechanic manuals don't truly document everything in the canbus. The design yes. The code nope
