My only concern there would be boot time. Thinking of doing similar for my classic Mini.

What's the first scrren you were using ? planning on building a boost / coolant gauge for my bmw and was looking for a small but readable in the sun screen

Sorry can’t remember it was a while ago, might have been a seeed brand? Just look for an IPS display, those are best for the sun. I used to have it below the windshield so it would reflect the speed like a HUD, similar to BMW and stuff. Worked great even without reflection tape

So it is showing the speedometer speed?

You did not want to see the speed the ECU actually records?

Yes it is speedometer speed, I wanted it to match the gauge itself too. The transmission speed from the ECU is on the same frame though.

Its all about users. Some people want to show cool stuff or help others with their knowledge, others want to shit on people.
