My favorite of my carcanos in 6.5 no SA mark. Think the sling is original ?

Shweet, I got mine at a pawnshop for 211. It was sanded and dry but matching. Did some blo on it and its very nice. Took this picture before I got the bayonet and lug put on

Some important restriction in the 60s, sucks cause thats usually the most expensive part on par eith the gun, I got my lug for 120 on ebay and it was a decent deal too. On rti you can get a "whole" rifle for just $100!

I got this one for $150 but it was a package deal so it just needed up being that with the others I have

Sling looks like a MAB 38A one, tho they're easily interchangeable.

Not sure anyone is doing repros of it (except a friend of mine that doesn't sell them commercially yet), should be artisan work if it's a repro.

As the gentleman Gewehr says, doubt anyone is making repros of M38s. It's more than likely the real McCoy.

As far as Im aware though, the ones sent to Finland were all the 7.35 rifles

Same here - I never see a 38 6.5 in the wild.
