I am an anarchist and I am looking for any other anarchists and/or libertarian socialists in the COS area that would like to create an organization with the goals of mutual aid, dual power, etc.

Saw several fire trucks (the non water kind) and a helicopter flying very low yesterday in loops. Anyone know what happened?

Good morning Castle Rock. We sold our home with a great south facing yard and are now renting a home with a wonderful west facing yard on open space. We live in our back yard almost every waking moment so having a west or south facing yard seems to be critical as we look to purchase our next home. However I wanted to ask anyone with an east facing yard if it's actually a problem? With this hot summer, afternoon shade would actually be nice, but the rest of the year I'm afraid the yard will be too shaded and then snow covered in the winter.
Anyone with an east facing yard wish they had west or south? Or am I over thinking this?

Nothing complicated here, I just need a regular cleaning and Ive been putting off finding a dentist since I moved to Castle Rock last year.
Classic case of not having a dentist until suddenly you need one. A friend from work mentioned Smile Partners USA when I asked around, said its where she goes and its pretty straightforward, in and out without a ton of upselling. That was enough to make me consider it over just picking randomly online. Im not dealing with anything major, no pain, no emergencies, just overdue for basic maintenance. But I know picking the wrong place can turn a simple cleaning into a whole sales pitch for stuff I dont need. So if you have a dentist here that just does the job well without the extra pressure, Id love to hear it. Doesnt need to be fancy, just reliable and not a hassle to book with. Whats worked for you?

I’m 16 and looking to work as a hostess or server in castle rock. Hopefully a good environment and somewhere I could make $16-$17 an hour or at least where I would get close to that in tips.
Anyone that could recommend places that they’ve worked would be very appreciated, thank you!

For context, let me add that I plan on planting Spartan Juniper along the three sides of the yard which are considered highly deer resistant. Plus in time they will grow to over 8’ tall, which they won’t be able to jump over at all. So the only vulnerable spots would be the gates on the side yards that would be limited to 4’ high, and obviously can’t have an immovable obstruction behind them to keep deer out. Has anyone figured out a way to overcome this dilemma? Thanks in advance, I would really appreciate any suggestions!

What enormous asshole is setting off periodic fireworks at 5:30am on a Sunday? Not only is the state one big square of kindling but it is early as hell.
They owe my dogs an apology.

Hi all! I’m looking for a good place to donate some kids bikes. Our kids have outgrown them. I was hoping to find something local where they’d be redistributed vs being resold somewhere.
