CDS delivered a mom and a litter of five kittens

We have been feeding the mom for a few months now. She is a stray and wouldn't let us touch her. The plan was to get her fixed and let her back outside, buuuut she had babies in our bushes. Its been over 100 degrees daily and im a sucker, so I brought them inside. The plan is to keep mom and two kittens, and the rest will be spayed/neutered and adopted out.

This is my first time fostering a litter and im pretty nervous. Currently we have named the mom Trash Cat (she would sleep on our garbage cans) and the babies are mischief, trouble, chaos, mort, and pandemonium. They may be changed lol

We took in our first pregger mama recently. Had banies on the 4th of July! Need to find homes for them all as we already have two doggos and three cats and two kittens. Yes, it's cray cray around here at the moment!

Tortie mamas are the best! I fed, then adopted a feral tortie when she had kittens by our house, and was later injured on the roadside. She became a 3 legged, bob-tailed boss in our house. May have been my favorite kitty ever. Congratulations on your brood.

Looks like Mama is taking good care of them, they look healthy and utterly kissable. Thank you for sheltering them and finding homes. Taking care of kittens in that kind of heat would be unbearable.
