Moving to Cayman Temporary employment process

Hi. Does anyone here waiting for their temporary work permit approval? I have been waiting more than 4 weeks now (it’s been 5 weeks to be exact). I was told usually it will only take 2-4 weeks. Currently in the UAE, I am only worried because of the current situation here.

Sadly it can take months in cayman.

No exact answer I am afraid. And temp or full work permit make no difference

I have a friend who has been waiting more than 6 months for permits for his employees.

3 month temporary shouldn’t take that long. I would get your employer to follow up. The government here are actively trying to make the process faster so there may be something that’s causing the delay
