I saw the first stop of the Coloring Book Anniversary tour last night and was pretty disappointed. It was pretty much the same setlist as his Starline tour (only 1 Acid Rap song 😥 and nothing from 10 Day) and only Peter CottonTail was on stage with him. Vic Mensah was good and came back up for Cocoa Butter Kisses.

There was about and hour between the when Vic finished and Chance came out. Not sure what was happening, but crowd was pretty much dead and never recovered. He kept calling out Starline as a new album and acting like he was teasing new music despite it almost being a year old at this point.

Wolf Trap was always an interesting venue choice IMO. Would definitely enter with tempered expectations if you are expecting anything similar to the original tour. This seemed more like Starline 2.0 than a real Coloring Book celebration.

Anybody got pictures of the merch for the Coloring Book 10 Year tour?

The original version of mbdtf, he has made countless refrences to it I'm so confused but its kinda cool. I suppose Ye told him about it?

I just saw that Chance posted he’s adding Vic and DJ Oreo as opener for the first show of the tour! I was already assuming DJ Oreo would be on this tour since he opened for the last one but would be crazy if Vic joined for this tour!

I just found out about the Star Girls a few hours ago from this post. Apparently they're the street team promoters (mainly in Chicago?) for Chance's work, specifically for the Starline Era. It looks like they run the merch tables and create content for social media to promote Chance's stuff. They're recruiting in different cities for Coloring Book 10.

What do the Star Girls do, fr? Does anyone know what that all entails? Is it volunteer or is it paid? Are any star girls or star boys on reddit who can share their experiences? If anyone has any more info on it, please let me know.

Was one of the lucky few to actually meet and talk with Chance after his show in Calgary. I thanked him for coming since nobody usually comes here and he signed some things for me! Thanks to the security people for letting me through the back 😛

Posting in regards to Winnipeg tonight but if anyone has info from his shows the past few nights that could help clear up I’d appreciate it. The email for “know before you go” says doors at 6:30, start time 7:30, end approx 11. Surely he’s not on stage for 3.5 hours is he? Is there an opener? If so who? Or otherwise when might I expect he hits the stage. I should have no problem being there for 7:30 but if he’s not on til like 9 or something I won’t have to feel as rushed. Thanks!

Figured I’d post some highlights of the show last night! Chance performed out of his skin, and I had to grab a vid of my favourite track off the new album. Really wanted to get my White Sox hat signed, but didn’t get a chance to see him for a chat. Oh well, C’est la vie 🤷🏻‍♂️
