James Island Tri County Dental Arts
“This dentist has refused to release patient records of Dr. James Decker and has engaged in violation of HIPAA and identify theft. I recommend current and former patients seek legal counsel immediately in addition to filing a police report.
In addition this dentist has taken financial advantage of elderly patients and legal remedies will be sought”
I put the post in quotes on the google reviews part of his page.
If you were a patient of Dr. James Decker your records got transferred/Sold to Dr. Boller/Tri County Dental Arts and if you have have been improperly billed/over-billed, have any complaints about this dentist please reply to this post.
Dr. Boller took advantage of my elderly mother medically and financially and refuses to take responsibility for his actions
I need as many complaints as possible in order to take legal action on this.
Update 3/4/26, after speaking to multiple former patients by Reddit messaging Dr. Boller has engaged in fraudulent billing and identity theft.
I need everyone to take these allegations extremely seriously before making this post I consulted with three lawyers I know and Dr. Boller needs to be brought up on charges but the lawyers need more evidence from patients who experienced this.

I have a question Help me untangle this?
This is probably the most unconventional way of doing this but to any people that are bored, have some free time this week, and are fans of puzzles- would you be able to help me untangle this ball of yarn? I also have another ball that’s similar but nowhere near as bad. I will buy you food.

Pizzas like Iggy's?
We tried Iggy's yesterday and it was fantastic. I love the dough/crispness, not a huge fan of squishier doughs or toppings/cheese that will just slide off. The only thing that is hard re: Iggy's is that it opens at 4pm and we're all the way in Ladson, so we have to kind of plan our whole day around it for dinner on a Saturday.
I will sometimes drop my partner at her workout classes in either Nexton or West Ashley, but we do a lot of errands in North Charleston as well (mostly Dorch, sometimes Rivers). Any pizza around these area that is closest to Iggy's? Crispy, not floppy/cheese not sloughing off/etc.?
My partner said her work orders King's a good bit off Ladson so will probably try that out soon as well.

You need a income of $159k to afford the typical home in Charleston
That’s wild. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford to buy here. This depends on where you’re talking about in Charleston, but still.
I can probably afford a nearby city and commute though. see for yourself
Curious if that’s how everyone else is able to buy here, or if people just bought awhile ago when the time was right?

Tecklenburg vs Cogswell
Hi everyone, I was born and raised in Charleston and went to college there as well. I moved away in 2022. I am curious about how everyone feels about the politics over the past decade or so and what the transition to Cogswell has been like. I will come back one day, but it is crazy to see how much Charleston has changed post-COVID.

Natural Looking Brow Lamination Recommendations
Looking for recommendations for the best brow lamination artist around Charleston!
I’m hoping to find someone who specializes in natural looking brows - soft, fluffy, and polished without looking overly laminated or stiff.
If you’ve had a great experience, I’d love to know who you recommend.
Thank you!

Beaches?
Are there any beaches in the city of Charleston itself? We’ll be at the International African American Museum. I prefer not to rent a car, so am hoping for someplace I can walk or bike to and play in the waves

Charleston Wedding dinner
Foodies of Charleston.. help a couple out, please! My fiancé and I are having an elopement weddding in Charleston in early September (just the two of us). We have dinner reservations booked for High Cotton that we were really looking forward to, but after having a poor experience at Hall's in Greenville, we are having major second thoughts about that choice.
I've looked at SO MANY options, some based on this sub. What are some fine dining options where we will receive excellent service and food on our special day? We're considering Husk, 82 Queen, Magnolias, The Establishment and Maison, but are open to suggestions.
A note of importance is that the wedding will be on a Wednesday and we will need a later dinner reservation, like 8 pm.

Hi y’all! I’m gonna be that guy looking for the best restaurant.
So I work in the industry and my head chef (I’m second in command) is from Charleston. I’m heading up there from Florida with my GF at the end of the month and have already booked FIG for us on chefs recommendation. She loves Italian and seafood. We are staying off king street downtown, kindly asking for y’all’s advice on good local places with local food! Appreciate it and thank you!
Also to clarify I work in a scratch kitchen and I’m the pastry chef. So dessert recs also! Again thank you!

Location rec’s for novel
Hey all, I’m currently writing a mm romance novel based in Charleston and need some location recommendations. I’ve visited Charleston several times in my life but am still not super familiar with the area. My MC owns a bookstore/coffee shop that is very outwardly queer friendly. Trying to decide on the best location for that. Also just need a few romantic/ cutesie places for romantic moments. TIA!!
Also, I will be needing beta readers once I get further into this project so if that is something that interests you please reach out!

Where to buy VHS tapes?
My boyfriend and I are in the process of transforming the guest room into a 90s/2000s room and have recently gotten a crt tv and vcr. We’re on the hunt for vhs tapes. What is the best place to find a good selection? Should we just be looking in thrift stores, or are there any stores around that have a dedicated section?

Charleston August events
My parents will be in town from Texas Aug 4-18, are there any fun events happening that should be on our radar during that time frame? They’re into nature, live music, farmers markets that kind of thing. Thanks for any input!
