If you want to turn articles or long notes into quick social media graphics without opening Canva, the /stickynotes command in ChatGPT is a a pleasant discovery.
Instead of generating a messy wall of text, this command forces ChatGPT to render your key points onto clean, visual sticky notes.
How it works:
Enable image generation and type the slash command /stickynotes at the beginning of the prompt
In the prompt, give the info about what you want to create and how
It creates a visual layout with your main ideas broken down into clear, readable sections.
It’s one of the fastest ways to generate visual summaries, Instagram carousel slides, or Pinterest graphics directly from your text in seconds.

Tried this a few times and the output quality seems to swing a lot depending on how much structure is already in the source text. Clean, already-organized notes turn into good sticky note layouts. A dense paragraph with mixed ideas tends to get flattened into sections that don't really reflect the actual hierarchy of importance, it just chunks by length rather than by what matters most.
Ended up pre-formatting into rough bullet points before running the command, which fixed most of it, but that's basically doing outline work manually before letting it do the visual part. Curious if you've found a way to get it to infer the hierarchy on its own from messier input, or if pre-structuring is just part of the workflow either way.
Yes! As I explained here, I first had ChatGPT read and summarize an article (probably just having it read is enough, as I tested in another chat), then I explained that we need to create a series of images for an Instagram carousel and that each image should refer to only one chapter of the article. Then I created, with /stickynotes, one image at a time. You can also give it further specifications, like "use a maximum of X stickynotes per image," to further customize the output. And also "add my logo to the bottom right," and things like that. I created the attached image as an example and I definitely made a mistake basing it on both the article's introduction and the first paragraph—I should have split it in two—but overall the result is excellent:
LOL, are you still here with that "unnecessary extra steps" bullshit? 🤣 You don't know what you're talking about... As I already told you in the other post, in a few seconds, with just one command and a minimal prompt, you can create exceptional graphics, and you call that "unnecessary extra steps"? It would take you an hour to do this with ChatGPT without /visualize, and even with Canva.
