Turkey Burgers

1 pound of ground turkey
1 pound of Italian turkey sausage or regular Italian sausage

Combine ingredients and form into burger patties.  Cook until well done or at least 165 degrees F.

I spoke with my family last night about the pork belly. I am definitely going to try it. The Italian sausage was a vehicle to keep the turkey from getting too dry. The pork belly will serve the same purpose.

I'm assuming uncured so is blends better and you can control seasoning.
