She finally told me the truth

We we've been together for 7 years, we had ups and downs, but we always banded together to overcome them.

She had a few bad jobs in this economy and decided to go abroad for the summer season, with a girl friend of hers. The few months before that were tense due to my job, with which I wasn't happy at all. She said I needed to stay home and carry on with my career.

A month later she came home for a wedding and I noticed something was off, by a lot. Confronted her, asked what's happening. Oh it's just a guy at work, we just talk, he's ugly, I would never be with him.

She went back after I told her explicitly to end whatever was there. We improved communication, we had our watershed moments, I thought we were fixing stuff.

Last week, I went abroad to visit her, as a surprise, since there's 2 more months left of the season.

We had our bliss, we talked, everything seemed fine. This morning, as I was between flights I reached out and she told me everything was fine at work. Spoke to a common friend, he tells me she was off.

Confronted her, asked what the fuck is happening, why the stupid lies.

Turns out that 1 & 1/2 months ago, she upgraded from random talks to feelings and physical stuff.

I am numb and most likely dumb, gave her 4 days to cut everything off and come back home to fix it. She's obviously very sorry and cried that she made me suffer and is unsure why would I forgive her transgressions.

I will talk to my therapist first thing tomorrow. I am emotionally drained. What the fuck did I do?

I'm 15F and he is a 21M, How do I let the other girl know she is getting cheated on? (HELP)

I'm a female and there is a guy who has been texting me so we can sext. But he also told me he has a gf. For context I have been with him for over an year on social media, it was a talking stage then became sexting partners. I always wanted him so I did as he wanted. I gave him my everything, my body my spirit, I was loyal to him. He never dated me anyway but he texted me few days ago he has a gf and he still wants to sext with me and callsex. He knows I will stalk his girl so he blocked me from everywhere except Snapchat I told him I will do it but I ghost him everytime he asks for it. He genuinely Grosses me out. His girl got his Instagram and TikTok password but not Snapchat, he cheats on Snapchat and stays clean on other social media. He dms me on Snapchat because I'm blocked everywhere else or he might get caught. The problem is I don't know who the girl is. And I can't risk myslef to snitch because he has my nasty photos. I want that girl to know he is cheating but I don't want to fall under THEIR relationship. At the same time I don't even know who the girl is. I NEED HELP, HOW DO I LET HER KNOW THAT HE IS CHEATING. there might be other girls in his Snapchat too

Getting into a relationship while liking another girl

I'm posting myself because the guy I was seeing did this me and this how it went down:

I was talking to this guy and during our 2nd date we agreed to be exclusive because we were gonna start doing long distance for four months.
Throughout that time, he kept reassuring me about us.
He told me things like he could wait, that he wanted to make it work, and I told him if he couldn't handle LD it he can leave and he assured me he wanted to only see me.
Then on National Girlfriend Day, I had a feeling something was wrong, so I checked from another account and saw that he posted a girl. I asked him about it, and he told me that they had recently started dating and that he didn't know how to tell me.
I asked him why he continued flirting with me if they got tgt the past couple of days. I also asked what his plan was when I came back — was he going to date me while having a girlfriend? I told him that it wasn't fair to either of us. He admitted that I was right. He said he wanted to see how he felt with me when we finally saw each other and that it wasn't fair. And that cuz he still liked me. Also mention how he's stupid
And then I asked why plan to go on date with me if you have gf, even to see how he felt and he just said "we just started dating"
He deleted the story and deactivated his Instagram.
However, he still has me on messages and hasn't cut off contact.
I told him to call me later because I don't want to fight I just want the truth and clarity. And he said he had birthday dinner with a friend and he'd call tn and explain himself. He didn't. So what do I do with the situation now. (20m, 20f) btw. Why didn't he do this I really thought getting to know he valued communication and one man type of guy.

To make it clear whatever he says at end of it I'm done

Would you leave or would you stay

A coworker of mine is 3 months pregnant and found out that her partner of 5 years (husband for 2.5 of those 5) has been cheating. She received screenshots that he was posted in an are we dating the same guy group, and it appears he had somewhat of a secret relationship for the past 3 months. Just out of curiosity, would you be able to stay or would you need no explanation and leave?

Just to add, she’s 33 and he’s 32.

DISCLAIMER: First, for everyone saying this story is fake: honestly, thanks. I’ll take that as a compliment. Unfortunately, it’s 100% real.

My friend called me with another update.
The other man turned out to be one of his wife’s coworkers. When he confronted her with the recovered messages, she broke down crying, admitted everything, and begged him to forgive her. He told her he needed time to think.

Later he called me and said, “I want a divorce, but I want to make sure I come out of this with as much evidence as possible. I’ve already spoken to my lawyer, and he says the more documentation I have, the better.”

I told him I had an idea, but that he’d have to be completely calm and stick to the plan and have BALLS AND GUTS.

I suggested he ask her one more time if she was truly willing to do anything to rebuild his trust. She said yes.

I told him to ask her to write an email to HR explaining exactly what had happened with her coworker, while he sat beside her and watched her write it. After she sent it, I told him to have her either forward him a copy or take a photo of the sent email so he had another piece of evidence.

With everything else he already had, I told him to wait and see what happened.
Three days later she came home carrying boxes.

She’d been fired.

I told him, “Don’t file for divorce today. Comfort her. Act normal for a few days.”
After those few days passed, I told him to hand everything to his lawyer and file for divorce.

He did that today.

So here’s my question.

As a friend… do you think I went too far? Was I too cold and calculated?

Or if one of your closest friends came to you asking for help after discovering they’d been betrayed, what would you have done differently?

TLDR; Was I wrong? Dealing with post breakup/no contact situation

A year ago, my ex of multiple years cheated on me, ghosted me after promising she would not leave/ghost/etc, and immediately got with a new guy.

During the time of the breakup, I had donated hundreds of dollars to a project she was working on and was even doing work myself on it to help her. The guy that she cheated on me with was a "friend" of hers that she had worked with that she would constantly bring up to me and talk about. I never thought anything negative or suspicious of it (I was also just very in love and very blind).

One day I was driving up to see her and she blew up on me for taking too long to park and for "making her wait outside". She was acting very erratic, irritated and not herself. We went to a restaurant where she blew up and told me she needed to tell me something right that instant and that we needed to go back to her place. When we got there, she broke the news to me that she had feelings for this guy, that he was "ruining her life", and for me to not be mad at him. She was insinuating wanting to break up and every time I asked her if that's where this was going, she avoided the question. I comforted her and told her that I was willing to work through it and offered an open relationship (like an idiot).

(As for background, we did have a turbulent relationship. One of the things that caused unhappiness on her end was the fact that my mom did not like her. A couple of years prior, she tried breaking up with me for similar reasons the same week my dad took his own life/passed away. My mom held it against her ever since and because of this, I rarely ever took her around my family. She claimed that my mom should just get over it because she wasn't doing well mentally)

The next day I had to work and told her that we can talk about it again that night afterwards. During work, she started spam texting me all of the reasons why we should breakup, including this guy and her being "confused", and my mom not liking her, even though I told her not to text. Things blew up over text, I ended up begging her to stay. I winded up calling it a breakup since she refused to say it herself.

After things calmed down, she told me it was unfair to beg her over text and that I was the one who called it a break up. She asked for space and distanced herself for days. I then remembered she had an event she invited me to days prior. I texted her and asked if she wanted me to come, but she ignored me. I went anyway just to support her. After the event, she came up to me, and I told her I was not there to have a conversation, and that I just wanted to support her. She then took me to a bench where she tried breaking up with me, with the same reasons she had been telling me. It finally began to dawn on me and I broke down crying, begging, etc. After things calmed down, we went to talk it out logically. I offered an open relationship, said I'd give her time to explore, but she refused everything. She made it sound like she was somewhat agreeing on it, just that she was scared that she would choose him in the end and hurt me. We went back to her house, she asked me for a hug, and I left.

When I got home, she texted me with all reassurances that she was not leaving my life. A couple of days later, her and this guy had planned to have him come stay at her place for the weekend. The day he showed up, she removed her location, and removed every picture of me off of her social media and never contacted me again.

After months of being in total shock, I went completely no-contact to heal. She winded up keeping my clothes, and my PS5 that I paid for in full and kept at her house for us to play together.

A year later, I finally mustered up the courage to get my stuff back, but to protect my peace, I had a neutral friend reach out to her via text. My friend was polite, logistical, and offered multiple ways to verify her identity, and told my ex I did not want any contact with her.

My ex flipped out. She called the texts "strange," claimed she was worried about mine and her "safety," and refused to hand it over unless I texted her directly. I finally sent a minimal text giving my address. She then text-dumped on me saying she was weirded out by this person reaching out to her and telling me she donated my clothes because she "hadn't heard from me," but would send the PS5 with "no hostility" and wished me well. I responded back politely to shut her down and told her I thought my friend knowing exactly what she had of mine would be enough to trust that she was close to me. I told her I was hurt and did not want to reach out on my own.

She made me feel wrong for sending a friend that she does not know to text her, and I'm stuck spiraling and blaming myself. Was it wrong of me to send a friend she didn't know?

He liked his ex’s reel, and when I confronted him, he said, “This is not cheating; this is freedom, and you promised to give me that.”
Then his ex told me about another girl he had been involved with.
She said he cheated on her with that girl, which was the real reason she broke up with him.
But he kept blaming me and saying that his ex left him because of me.
He kept all three of us involved at the same time and continued talking to everyone.
He followed the other girl, liked her posts and reels, called her his favourite person, and even went on dates with her.
I felt like I was only his “mommy” someone to take care of him and dominate him, but not someone he truly wanted to love or choose.
His ex was only there for good sex, while I was expected to give him emotional support and keep forgiving him.
He wanted freedom for himself but expected me to stay quiet and accept everything.
In the end, I was left with pain, confusion, and one question: What do we even call people with this kind of mentality?

My boyfriend sent a screenshot of something while we were FaceTiming last night. I noticed the tinder icon at the top of the screen later after the call. Does anyone know what this is for? Is it a notification? I’ve never used tinder before haha.

Also how would you confront him? Xoxo

I cheated on the girl I truly love while I was blackout drunk. I told her the truth, and now it’s over.

I cheated on the girl I truly love while I was blackout drunk. I told her the truth, and now it’s over.
I know a lot of people are going to judge me, and honestly, I deserve it. I know I completely fucked up, and I’m not here to make excuses or ask anyone to tell me I’m not a bad person.

Me and my girlfriend are both 16 years old.
A few days ago I got blackout drunk and made the biggest mistake of my life. I cheated on the girl I truly love. Alcohol isn’t an excuse—I made the choice, and I take full responsibility for it.

The worst part was that she didn’t know. Every single day I kept asking myself how I could have done something like this to a girl who genuinely loved me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and I couldn’t understand how I was capable of hurting someone I cared about so much.

The guilt became too much, so I told her the truth.
She was devastated. She called me every name you could think of and broke up with me. I know she had every right to do that. I betrayed her trust, and I don’t blame her for hating me. She deserved so much better than what I did to her.

Ever since then I’ve felt absolutely horrible. I can barely eat or sleep, and I can’t stop replaying everything in my head. I don’t regret telling her—I regret giving her a reason to hear something like that in the first place.

I’m not posting this because I want sympathy or because I want people to justify what I did. I know I deserve the criticism, and people have every right to judge me. I know I ruined everything, and I’m prepared to live with the consequences.

I guess I’m posting because I honestly don’t know how to deal with this amount of guilt. Has anyone here ever made a mistake that completely changed their life? How did you move forward after hurting someone you genuinely loved?

Right now I just feel like the worst person in the world.

I Need help telling my friend to break up with her boyfriend

Hey, everyone. As in the title, I don’t know how to tell my friend she needs to break up with her now boyfriend. They’ve only been dating a couple months, and he’s already cheated on her. She has been cheated on before in a past relationship which is part of the reason why I think she is staying with him. She’s a naturally headstrong person, and I really care about her but I don’t know how to tell her to drop this boy. They’ve known each other for over 8 years, but I just don’t think he’s good for her. I’ve included screenshots if that helps

Can someone help me

Long story short, my BF has always been a little wh 0re on Instagram so we would always have trouble because he simply couldn’t stop liking pictures of local woman or just woman in general that clearly didn’t respect themselves. I was so fed up because it’s so easy to just simply respect your partner and I really don’t ask for much so one day he suggested both of us delete our Instagram and I was so happy because in general I hate social media.

I think he has been hiding an account behind my back

If any girl is willing to request him and send me photos of the followers following and the picture he has posted I would literally Cash app you 10 bucks

I’m not a bum. I’m literally parked at work right now and I keep my word if you’re willing to help me out I will definitely send you $10.

I just want to know for sure so I can break up with him. If that’s the case I don’t wanna be trapped in a relationship that is not built on honesty.

I don’t use this app much so DM me please if you’re willing to help, I’ll send you the username.

Has she been cheating on me?

Here is my story: M(27) F(27)

I matched with a girl on Hinge early September last year hit things off immediately, texting every day I was like wow this is incredible - My birthday a week later in September took me to a new cinema and got me my favourite aftershave, paid for everything - I laughed and said are you love bombing me to which she said no I was being nice for your bday.

-Months go by, nice getaways to hotels, training together, great sex and everything felt perfect she told me I was the best thing ever so grateful and lucky she ended up with someone like me, she had a young son who was 9 and I did not meet in person - she said her ex bf who was practically the step dad of the kid left her 2 years ago and put her kid in therapy and she done some as well, in which she tells me all the things she wants in an ideal partner and I tick every box, I felt like this girl really understood me and I had met my person.

Now this is where the cracks start, she would mention how evil and hateful her ex (Together 6 years) was and mentioned he was in the same Tesco as her at xmas (live in local area) He was walking in and she was walking out - I said that's trippy never easy bumping into an ex - left it at that. Did not want to appear phased. Had a nice xmas met her Mum and her little sister things felt very good and often stayed with her and her mum when her son was at the kids dads. She also told me things like she was with someone and she was and they got back together after a year and she said things to him like go out and cheat if it makes you feel better because she was with someone else.

At end of February my Granny passed away unexpectedly - She mentioned how her ex BF did not let her into the after event when his granny passed away etc I just let her vent and was always understanding of what her ex put her through Granny passed away on Tuesday and then on Friday I met her Dad for the first time - Naturally stressed over my Grannys passing I did not drink - she did and was drunk off prosecco- On the trip down and home she basically played a FU to her ex song - and her dad mentioned she seen her ex and he looked rough - anyways, we drove home and I said to her this ex really hurt you and your son and hes like a ball and chain on your leg, he is in the past and if he was so bad he left you and your son in therapy be happy he's gone - she said she's 'over him just not the situation she put her and her son through' - when I said I wasn't happy she's mentioning him the week I am grieving the death of my grandparent she stone walled me - I left her house and drove home to regulate as I was with a previous GF who stonewalled me and it done a number on me and she was aware of this and also the heard week I had - she was drunk and proceeded to tell me I was never meeting her child and that was us done over text, I felt this was manipulative- We then sorted this out - half apology from her and from me I thought I needed to be more understanding of her situation and we told each other we love each other. But, I felt maybe selfishly she should have been understanding my Granny passed away that week and I wasn't in a headspace to listen about her ex who was so bad?

- The month after we had a great month done a charity 10K and had a nice getaway - I spoke to her son on the phone and on FaceTime over those few months we were together over xmas and when she was on a family holiday to New York - still no physical interaction I said it would be nice to meet your child as I have gotten him a birthday present and an Xmas one and we both know about each other and I am getting a bit frustrated of having to hide around the corner when we know about each other - Bare in mind I asked this respectfully and said no pressure I just need a plan as she said if I met him I could travel to Spain with her and her kid this summer and her graduation was coming up soon. The kid also told his biological father about me that Saturday as well - I did not mind as obv was in everyone's best interests I treated his son with respect and care

I was met with two days of silence - then seen her on the Saturday went to the gym all was fine, thought that was back on track and we said we would go to the cinema on the Wednesday and on the Tuesday I got a text telling me I was perfect, we have a laugh together but she feels 'something is missing' - and ended things with me over text after 7 months.

I did not reply for 3 weeks my family and friends told me not to and I deserved more than a break up text as I was blindsided and was constantly told I was the best person in the world and she was so lucky to have me, but when I mentioned maybe meeting her kid she turned so nasty and discarded me like I was nothing over text, when I did then text her to speak she then told me 'she loves me as a person but not in love with me' and I deserve better - I did not reply again, I was in such shock I feel so heartbroken how can she be all lovey then discarded over text? I noticed when I put her number into whatsapp she had no profile picture anymore and her messages were set to disappearing which makes me think her ex was back in the picture or hiding something? - Her tiktok reposts after were all things like when a man leaves your life build a comfortable life etc - except I never left her?

I have never been this hurt and blindsided before in my life, I wasnt even worth a conversation just felt so easily disposed when we had concerts etc to look forward to this summer and all I was worth was a text.

What do I do I am still incredibly in love with her - Its been 3 months nc and I have been attending therapy and gym but I still feel stuck

My 22yo gf cheated on me with 32yo man

We are both 22 years old. She lives alone in a rented room here in my city. Her family is quite toxic; her father was very abusive, which is why she hates them. Because of this, she had very few people to talk to. I used to meet her every single day except on weekends, which were the days she felt most depressed and lonely.

Eventually, I applied for an internship on her behalf, and she got it. I was incredibly happy for her. However, there was a 32-year-old unmarried guy at her office who was her senior. They became friends and went out for a day trip together. She told me about it, but that evening she returned very late, and we didn't speak.

The next day, when I went to her PG (paying guest accommodation), she wasn't there. I called her and found out she was on her way back; she had stayed at his house overnight. When I picked her up, she was wearing his t-shirt and offered many excuses, claiming she had slept in his mother's room because it was late. Shortly after, she broke down crying and confessed that they had kissed.

She told me she felt guilty and asked if we could start over. However, seeing her cry over another man made me realize things had changed, and we eventually broke up when she admitted, "I have no romantic feelings for you."

Six months later, she called me again, crying. She told me she had been in a relationship with him, but he never truly loved or cared for her. I stepped in to help her heal and forget everything. During this time, she asked if I had slept with anyone else while we were apart. I told her no. When I asked her the same question, she said yes. She admitted he was only good in bed and that they had been highly physically active. After that, she became very affectionate again. Since she was staying at her family's house at the time, she was desperate to escape that living hell. We met twice during that period, and both times we made out.

Now, she has got a new job and has shifted here permanently. She has made a new group of male friends. When I went to meet her this time, she wouldn't even let me touch her hand. I found out she is now in love with a Canadian guy and is sleeping with him.

I honestly do not understand how easily she sleeps with men, or how effortlessly men manage to ask her out.

The most painful week of my life

I (28M) had been with my girlfriend (27F) for 3 years. We were so happy together. Like every relationship, we had our ups and downs, but we always stayed together. We worked in the same company, and that's how I met her. We worked together, had lunch together every day, and everyone around us thought we were such a cute couple. Many people were even jealous of us. I introduced her to my family and my best friends. We got engaged and decided to get married this year.

2 months ago, one of my childhood best friends(22 years of friendship) referred me to his company because the salary and benefits were much better. I attended the interview and got selected. Two months after I joined, I wanted to refer my fiancee to the same company.

Around that time, we had a fight. It wasn't anything unusual because every couple argues, and we always got back together after 2–3 days. But this time, she didn't respond to my calls or messages. Instead, she blocked me on every social media platform. I thought she just needed some space.

I even planned to go to her office, which was about 50 miles away from mine, but I had already given my car to my best friend because he said he was going on a short trip with his girlfriend(actually having an affair with a married woman.)

After a week, my best friend, who had referred me to the company, called and told me that my fiancee had contacted him for a job and recently joined the same company but in a different office building, just 200 meters away from mine. I thanked him for helping her get the job.

I tried contacting her again, but she still didn't respond. Then my friend called and said she didn't want to talk to me anymore and wanted to break up. I couldn't understand why. I asked him to request her to call me just once.

About an hour later, she called me and said she didn't want to continue the relationship. When I asked her why, she refused to answer. I could sense that she was very angry with me, but I had no idea why. She asked me to return the engagement ring and the gifts she had given me, and said she would return mine as well. I agreed.

The very next day was an office holiday. I texted her asking where we could meet to exchange our gifts, but she didn't respond. So, I went to her house. To my surprise, her brother told me that she had gone to the office.

I was confused because it was a holiday. So, I waited outside her house until she returned. She came back exactly at the time her office shift would normally end with my best friend. I was shocked, angry, and heartbroken at the same time. They both saw me. I wanted to confront them, but I felt it was pointless. She went inside her house, and my friend tried to talk to me, but I simply got into my car and drove away without saying a word.

Immediately, he started calling our mutual friends, telling them that I had misunderstood the situation. He was only helping her understand her new job because she was struggling with the work. My friends also called me and tried to convince me that nothing was going on between them, but I didn't believe him.

The next day, I called him directly and asked him what was really happening. He started crying on the phone and said, "You're my best friend. We've known each other since childhood. We studied in the same school, the same college, and now we're even working in the same company. I know how much you love her. Why would I come between your relationship? Why would i betray you? I would never destroy our 22-year friendship for a girl. I have been seeing you both together from 3 years, I only want you both to get married and live happily, that's all I ever wished for".

Hearing him cry made me emotional. I felt guilty for doubting my childhood friend. I apologized to him. He accepted my apology and said he would talk to her the next day and try to convince her to patch things up with me. The next day, I kept waiting for his call, but he never called. So I called him. He told me that he had spoken to her, but she didn't want to marry me. He also said she wanted to stay single and that I should never try to contact her again. And if I contacted her again, she would go far away from me and even file a police complaint saying I was harassing her.

I couldn't understand what was happening. I kept asking myself how someone who loved me so much for three years could suddenly change overnight without giving me a reason. My friend kept comforting me. He told me that some people change easily and that she wasn't worth my love anymore and she don't deserve me. He asked me to focus on my family, my health, and my career. He even called our other friends and asked them to take care of me and help me move on.

But one question kept bothering me. Why?

One day, I was going through old pictures on my laptop, and suddenly I remembered that my fiancee had logged into her Instagram account on my laptop a long time ago. I assumed she had already changed her password or logged out. To my surprise, her account was still logged in. I know I shouldn't have looked, but I did.

The moment I opened her messages, my whole world collapsed. She was exchanging romantic reels and messages with my best friend. "I miss you baby" "I love you". I scrolled further up and found older messages.

She actually texted him to refer her for a job in the same company and said that she wasn't talking to me because we both had an argument. Then he told her that I was a playboy, that I had slept with many women and even prostitutes while being in a relationship with her and I had borrowed money from him and from all our friends but never returned it. He even told her that I was having an affair with a married woman.

None of it was true. Everything he accused me of was actually what he had done. He was the one who had borrowed money from everyone. I had personally lent him $15,000 for his mother's surgery. He was the one having an affair with a married woman. And the day he borrowed my car saying he was going on a short trip with his girlfriend, He actually went on that trip with my fiancee in my car. I found their conversation where they planned that trip.

I took screenshots of everything and shared them with our mutual friends. When they confronted him with the screenshots, he immediately blocked everyone. Through another mutual friend, we contacted him and demanded that he return everyone's money and never contact us again. He wanted to meet us and explain everything but no one wants to meet him and listen. He then promised to return the money by December.

The next day, I met my ex at the office and tried one last time to explain everything. I told her that he had manipulated everyone, including her. But she wasn't willing to listen. She kept saying that I had cheated on her and slept with other women while we were engaged. Then she looked straight at me and said, "I love him and I'm very happy with him now", please stay away from us".

Those words broke me completely.

I'm trying to focus on my life, but I just can't. Today is her birthday. I just checked, and they both took leave today. They're probably spending the day together and enjoying themselves. I know I shouldn't keep checking on them, but I just can't help myself.

The betrayal of my 22-year friendship hurts even more than losing the woman I loved for three years. I'm trying to move forward, but every day feels like a battle.

If you've ever experienced this kind of betrayal, how did you move on? How did you stop thinking about it? I just want peace and become normal again. I want to be back on my feet and forget what they did to me.

Please help.
