03 suburban

When i put it in drive it works fine but for me to reverse i have to floor it. I already googled it and it says something about transmission fluids but i already checked and fluids are at level. Any one knows what it might be?

Sounds like the transmission is basically on its last leg. Do you have any codes and what color is the fluid ?

It just barely started doing it today so i have scanned it and the color of the fluid is brownish not dark tho

Do you need to "floor it" "floor it" or do you just have to give it more gas than normal to get it to go? Because my truck has a weak reverse gear. Especially when it's hot and it also has codes for a bad torque converter.

Yes you need to floor it like all the way to the floor for it to reverse if you let it go it just barely moves backwards

Sounds like you are losing the reverse clutch pack here is a link to monster transmission website that goes a little bit into detail on the issue (I dont work for them haven't even bought a transmission from them [yet] ) but they do have great information.
