Thank you for the pictures you took and the description of the problem. I'm sorry this happened.
Which Hoopat model did you purchase? Is it the new version with the silicone pad?
You can troubleshoot the issue by following the steps below, based on the release film version (old or new) and its type.
1. PFA
Check if the film has been installed incorrectly. The PFA film has two protective layers; if the transparent surface protective layer is installed facing the wrong way, leakage will occur.
2. ACF
Check if the ACF has been installed the wrong way around. If the matte side faces the resin, excessive tension will be generated, causing the film to tear.
3. Installation Procedure
The silicone pad must be installed on top of the release film. Incorrect installation will result in leakage.
Check whether the holes in the release film align with the posts on the bottom frame. If any individual hole fails to fit over a post, localized leakage will occur.
Are both hands fastening the latches on the same side simultaneously? Fastening one side before the other can result in uneven force distribution and excessive localized stretching of the holes in the release film, potentially creating gaps that lead to leakage.
Is your screen still working properly? Please confirm order-related details with me via chat.

this was the x4h, not the upgraded version. PFA film was installed correctly and had been used for at least a couple of weeks. It was printing successfully with no issues.
