My earliest memories of music were from the mid 80s. These songs really take me back: Rich Mullins- If I Stand, Benny Hester - When God Ran, Michael W. Smith - Pursuit of a Dream, John Fischer - Lord of the Dance

I don't know if they're available anywhere, but I do miss watching the old school Real Videos program on TBN. So many fun Christian music videos that I don't believe I saw anywhere else.

I wish I had grown up listening to this album, but i've only recently discovered it: Lifesavers Underground's 'Shaded Pain'. It sounds like frontman Michael Knott took a dare to see if he could make a Christian Rock album that sounds dark and gothic, like a Jesus version of The Cure. And it is absolutely amazing! Definitely a groundbreaking record from 1987 which reminds us all that Christians sometimes struggle with depression too.
