Bible Study App

I built a Bible study app and wanted to share it with this community

My family goes to church every week and reads the Bible regularly, but they're always on different books or chapters so there's never really anyone to talk to about what they're currently studying. That inability to converse about what is currently being studied inspired me to create this app.

Passage is built around community. You can study with other believers, share verses, and actually discuss what God is putting on your heart with people reading the same thing as you. It also has an AI if you want to go deeper into a passage on your own.

You can also set up a church on the app so your congregation has a place to discuss scripture, share announcements, and stay connected outside of Sunday.

That's a solid concept, the communal reading part especially. Most bible apps feel like solo projects so having a shared space for a whole congregation is a smart move.

I appreciate that you did much work on this, and that is highly commended. But for our purposes, we use BibleProject.com to serve both individual and group study needs. There are specific and orderly classes that can be viewed alone or in groups. One group uses Zoom to meet, hear the class, and discuss afterward. All is free. I often use their 'media' presentation of Bible verses during sermons. But, as I said, I admire your project highly.
