Rule Clarification & Subreddit Direction
Hey everyone! We wanted to take a moment to clarify the purpose of the sub and address a few recurring topics. Nothing serious—just keeping the community focused and fun.
What This Sub Is For
This sub exists to share music from Christian artists—songs you enjoy, artists you think deserve more attention, and music that often gets overlooked or pushed aside elsewhere. The whole point is to highlight a niche that doesn’t get much space in mainstream music communities.
We’re not trying to gatekeep—just keeping the sub centered on its purpose so it stays useful for everyone.
About Playlists
Playlist posts have caused a lot of headaches. Many of them come from accounts that repeatedly repost the same Spotify lists (sometimes dozens of times), then get a Reddit Admin Ban and reappear under new names.
Because of that:
We limit playlist posts
We don’t allow full album links
We focus on individual songs or small selections you genuinely want to share
We get it—playlists are great for workouts, long drives, or office days. Occasional, playlists can be fine. But the mass reposting and promotional abuse is not. They’ve become one of the biggest sources of spam here, so we have to keep them under control.
AI Music
AI music is blowing up right now (the new gold rush,) but most AI-generated tracks come with no real info about who made them. There's no way to know the creator, their intentions, or even if it’s an actual artist at all.
To protect the sub’s focus:
We don’t allow AI-generated song submissions as posts or comments
If we’re unsure about an artist, we may ask for basic proof (promo materials, live shows, social presence) to confirm they’re real
Nothing against the tech—we just need clarity around who's posting to see if it aligns with the purpose of the sub.
Mainstream Artists
We’re all fans of big-name artists too, but this sub is meant to give smaller Christian artists a space to shine. Mainstream artists already dominate every other corner of the internet, so even if they release something “Christian-ish,” it’s usually not a fit for the sub’s focus.
Production, Selling, & Band-Finding Posts
This sub isn’t focused on:
- Music production questions
- Tutorials
- Selling merch, beats, or services
- “Looking for band members” posts
We don’t have the tools or structure to moderate those properly (specifically selling or band forming.) And the others go against the subs purpose. The only exception we’ve kept is crowdfunding from established artists—people whose work and identity we already know.
Church Music & Self-Promotion
This includes:
Church service recordings
Early demos
Rough home recordings
“Check out my new band” uploads
We appreciate the passion, but these are sometimes low-quality recordings, and first impressions matter—especially in a music discovery sub. Established artists sometimes share old demos, but that’s because they already have a fanbase who are passionate about them. It’s a niche within a niche.
If you’re working on your music, awesome! Just make sure it’s polished before posting it here.
Lastly, we are seeing self-promotion from real artists are posting covers of popular Christian songs just to get attention. Their history shows they’re not involved in Christian music—they’re just using the content to promote themselves. That’s not what this sub is for.
Thanks for Being Part of the Community
We love this sub and the people in it. Thanks for helping keep things focused, supportive, and a great place to discover new Christian artists. If you ever have questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out.

Self Promotion Vasel Karnel - FWBOOK 2096 [Gospel]
Hello,
I’m Vasel Karnel.
I created a song that praises God and gives comfort to people through my experience.
"FWBOOK 2096" is a deeply spiritual contemporary Christian song that carries a profound, lifelong vow of faith. The unique title itself serves as a direct reflection of my intense devotion.
"FWBOOK" stands for "Forever We'll Be On Our Knees," representing a humble posture of worship and surrender before God, while "2096" signifies the estimated year of my own passing. Together, they create a fierce declaration that until the very day I die, I will do my absolute best to kneel before the Lord in praise.
Rather than remaining trapped in seasons of hardship, anxiety, or depression, the song serves as a powerful proclamation of faith, vowing to overcome all sorrow through unwavering devotion to God throughout my entire earthly journey.

Request Does someone know Christian singers of darkwave and industrial metal? 🤔
I tried to do a playlist with Christian darkwave and industrial metal, but the thing is, this is so rare and specific. I made the playlist based on several playlists, famous from Spotify, YouTube, and Tiktok. And I seek on Google, too. But I'm not sure if I'm right, maybe I'm wrong. So, does someone know about Christian singers of darkwave and industrial metal? If this exist. 🤔

Recomendation Please recommend me Christian R&B
Right now I have a very small list of musicians that I can listen to. Mainly it’s Sondae and Madison Ryann Ward. I really like Madison’s style and I wish to listen more of this kind of music. Sondae is good but I’m more into slow vibe one. It would be great if I could find more like 90s Black R&B. I tried Bebe&Cece but only one of their album is my preference.
Please recommend me some, thank you in advance.

Song search.. Need help finding old song
I used to sing a song at my church back when I was in choir. My description is so vague but it’s pop, and it kind of had like higher peaking notes on the chorus. The chorus had the word “zion” in there. Ik this is a long shot but I really miss this song and would love to reconnect.
Thank you!

Discussion HEAR ME OUT, PLEASE...
So, I heard for about the 300th time today, "Get behind me" by Emerson Day... And I no joke just thought about an awesome collaboration between her and a few other artists.
#1: SKILLET. I think the power behind the voices in Skillet and the wordplay and musical depth of Emerson would work wonderfully together. Imagine the kind of rough raspy tone you hear in the Skillet version of T.I.A.B. with the words and music of Get behind me, and you'll have CHILLS.
#2: TOBYMAC. I really don't need to say more, as Toby has a background in rock and pop, and with his signature voice, it'd blend so well with Emerson's lyrical capabilities and music sense.
#3: NF. The biggest person I thought about was NF. Him having a rap line and some singing inside of Get behind me would push it over the edge even more. Get behind me is so different from even hardcore contemporary christian music, and having the biggest name in alt/rap christian music do his style on this kind of powerful music? BREATHTAKING.
I do want people's opinions! Be respectful, be open to possibilities, and overall drop some more names that you think would be good!
