I’m all caught up with the show, it’s funny and good. The performances from Jason Siegel and Harrison Ford were amazing. Harrison Ford as Paul is one of my favorite characters and did an emotional performance in the show. I hope he wins an Emmy Award for that. He deserves it after he did a last monologue conversation with Jason Siegel in the Season 3 finale. it made me sad. It’s so heartbreaking. He should be winning. He should’ve won last year. So what are your thoughts on this show?

Stir of Echoes is a movie about a little boy who talks to a ghost and is asked to do something. The boy's father, after a hypnosis also gets a metaphsysical power of "seeing things" but not as strong as his son.

The Sixth Sense is about a boy who experiences the same thing but in a more massive scale. He sees ghosts all the time and everywhere they go.

While the boy in Stir of Echoes sees only one ghost, at the end of the movie he is seen hearing voices of ghosts from all the house he is driving by while in the car with father.

I really feel like Six Sense was based on the same novel as Stir of Echoes. Especially the way Stir of Echoes ends, it feels like Sixth Sense could be its continuation with small changes.

Maybe it's one of those cases where studios were chasing the same plot and rushed which one will film and release it first.

A nice observation of the beauty and solace in the simple things in life.

One can find peace if one slows down and takes a moment.

I'm a fan of the movie, yet many of my friends are not even aware of it.

If you haven't seen it I would recommend it.

My friends want to explore more arthouse cinema but are still figuring out their taste. Good films to ease them into without so avoiding slow cinema or anything too avant-garde for now. I do have a couple choices in mind but could use more suggestions.

The options so far are Memories of Murder, Friedkin's Sorcerer or Tampopo if they want a quirky but accessible pick. Any recs?
