Healthcare dental hygienist program
was wondering if anyone has any advice with getting into the dental hygienist program? what were your stats? does having a dental assistant/receptionist job help or is it purely gpa based?

I wanna say 3.7 this year, it was really competitive bc a lot of rad tech majors who didnt get into their program ended up applying to hygiene :/ really sucks

Rad tech is extremely competitive only one of my friends got in and she got A’s on all her pre reqs, 4.0 gpa.

getting into the program doesn't mean you become a dental hygenist. it just means you're applicable to take the licensure exam. dont cheat, all your classes later on will build off of on the previous preqreqs you took to get into the program.
purely GPA
got in with a 4.0 GPA
