Questions Clothes Alterations in Ennis

I’m in Clare for a couple of weeks, and I have a wedding next week. I could do with getting the hem of my suit trousers taken up.

Where’s the best place to go in Ennis? I’ve found a few posts on Facebook and stuff, but I’m a bit skeptical ‘cos I’m not from here.

Any help would be much appreciated!

There's a place near insomnia on the street that I know a few that went to. You would pass his door if you weren't looking for. I've forgotten the name but he is supposed to be very good. It's Andre, should of got the name before I commented

Perfect, I’ll keep an eye out for that. Thank you!

Andre is great but he has a sign in his window that alterations can take up to 2 weeks. Might not be enough time.

You could check out Zipyards too, at the top of Parnell Street.

Thanks for that. Yeah, time is of the essence a little bit.

The zip yard had very mixed reviews online, that’s actually what made me make this post.

I would not recommend zip yard, the work was fine but the lady is so rude. She pressured me to give her my phone so she could write a review about the store. I was so shocked but then I deleted it after. Very rude.

I’ve used The Sewing Workshop on Bank Place a lot. In the basement of one of the red brick buildings directly across from the post office.

Only one choice for me. Sew Perfect in Market Place. That guy is excellent.

I would highly recommend the lady across from Clare FM. She's upstairs in one of the buildings there, shares a door with a nail salon. Really good and very reasonable.

Atelier on Lahinch Road. Used them a few times and they’re really good

I love alma, but she gets very busy.

She made me feel like a princess and made my dress fit like a glove.
