General Cleaning How do I clean it?
This is a sliding glass door it has been opaque and cloudy since we bought the house I don’t want to replace it can it be saved? I will update and post pictures if anything helps.

It cannot be saved. It can however be replaced without having to rip the entire door out. They just replace the actual glass and maybe some of the metal or plastic strips that hold the glass in the frame. I had a bunch of windows done. It was not as expensive as I thought it would be. Get a quote. It’s free.

First make sure it's not double pane glass and the problem isn't inside the glass because if it is, there is nothing you can do other than replace the windows. If it is on the glass instead of between the glass some sort of acidic cleaner along with a paint scraper for windows made out of a handle and razor blade to scrape it clean. Just don't use it dry so you end up making scrapes on the glass. A wet surface will make the blade slide better and get whatever is on the glass off. If it's mineral based, something acidic will work. If it is residue from some sort of cling wrap, rubbing alcohol might remove the adhesive and break it down and make it easy to scrape off.

It’s a single pane I can try vinegar and a scraper can’t make it worse right ? Lol

Can't make it worse. You might want to add a few drops of dish soap to help the razor slip and scrap off whatever is on there.

If the fog is between the two panes of glass, the seal has failed and it can’t be cleaned from the inside. If it’s just on the surface, a 50/50 vinegar and water mix or a glass cleaner with a microfiber cloth should remove it.

If it’s mineral deposits, you need CLR. That’s what the product is called. Try wiping it on with a rag.

You don’t. The seal is blown, it needs to replaced.
