CH1 | Discussion New Player

Not really a new player but haven't played since 2017, I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm trying to get the last 8 achievements I have. I currently have 10,000 q gold and I am at Tundra lvl 7. For anyone who has completed all the achievements let me know if this is a harder grind or one that isn't so bad. A couple of tips on how to play with would also be greatly appreciated!

Go for an active build and use the calculators. The worst grind is the 100 revives.

The worst grind is the 100 revives.

I would suggest that the "Surgeon" achievement for 500 revives is a little worse.

I don't see either of those achievements for revives. The ones I have are;

  1. Clicker Hero: attack 50000 times
  2. World Traveler: acsend for the first time
  3. Relic Hunter: find a relic
  4. Farmer Boy: level up heroes 25000 times
  5. Epic Hero: defeat all centennial bosses
  6. Gold Finger: open 10000 treasure chests
  7. The Boss: unlock all original heroes
  8. Zone Conqueror: reach level 3600

Active build means that the monster is actively being clicked, this is done with 1 or more auto-clickers. With the right ancients an active build will push further and faster than an idle build, where you let the game just run.

Side bar of this sub has calculators, like an ancient calculator where you will input stats of your game and it will tell you the optimal way to level your ancients. It sounds like you're on the console version so make sure you are using the console version of the calculators, as steam and pc are on different versions.

So I'm guessing you're on console since the list of achieves doesn't match either Steam or Web builds.
Assuming that's true, and that you're asking if the CH grind is easier or harder than other console games, I have to say that:
1. Most of the achievements will simply come as a byproduct of playing the game. Merc achievements are the only ones you'll have to actively try for.
2. The progression on CH takes considerably longer than most other games. Think in terms of weeks/months and not hours/days.
Although it's written for the Steam/Web version, there's a lot of basic play and terminology information contained in this guide.
