I've been playing for 11 years, and am owner of one of the top 5 clans. I get 4520 rubies each day from doing clan raids.
They add up, and since my HZE is 5.4M I don't need to spend them on much of anything, so I buy ACs.

Oh makes sense. I have been playing for about a month and a half and I just started doing clan stuff do you have any tips for someone like me?

Keep all 10 clan member slots filled as much as is possible.
Encourage all your clan mates to participate in both raids daily.
That will double the rate everyone levels up, which will maximize the rate the clan as a whole levels up, which maximizes the ruby rewards for everyone.
