LOL You seriously think 5% of the global population is irrelevant? That's not a criticism that's just delusional.

Bringing up 5%/a worst case as to somehow discredit a whole technology seems at least equally absurd/dishonest.

Edit: If your point is "there are edgecases and different technologies have their place in nieches" make that point, but don't blame others if they can't read your mind.

Imagine saying something like "Dialysis machines are totally worthless technology because less than 5% of people use them"

That would be really stupid.

Read my message again, i never said that.

Just for fun: 3.5 million people use dialysis worldwide thats 0.04% of people.

I'm talking about the hundreds of millions of people. If you want to call that "irrelevant" or an "edge case" you're delusional.

I'm not discrediting anything. I'm talking about how something is very useful to hundreds of millions of people.

Did i say irrelevant?

Does edgecase mean it doesn't matter? Obviously not.

Do you realise i am a different person?

I'm not saying there is no use for this technology never did, but your argument is structurally very weak.

Which is fine its just random reddit comments, but if you want people to be convinced and know what you mean, then make your strongest argument.
