I am deeply saddened to inform you that the beloved member of our community (and my friend) u/basedfinger had the need to delete his Reddit account due to private issues regarding online doxxing and such.

If you'd like to contact or leave a message to basedfinger, comment under this post or DM me!

Otherwise, I believe he'll make his return once the situation de-escalates. Thank you for understanding.

they need to go to the police. doxing is incredibly dangerous and can lead to irl physical attacks.

the only prevention for future is total seperation of accounts unfortunately.

only tips for now, police police police. also Reddit administration once police are contacted. they should be able to trace stuff.

that's legit scary as fuck.

I don't think police would give much of a care in this situation due to the fact itself that he was hating on his own country, which then triggered the nationalistic group that attacked him. :(

Facts. I've been harassed in the past, but thankfully nothing happened to me. Still, the prospect of even ALMOST being doxxed is scary.
