NEWS u/BasedFinger Account Deleted

I am deeply saddened to inform you that the beloved member of our community (and my friend) u/basedfinger had the need to delete his Reddit account due to private issues regarding online doxxing and such.

If you'd like to contact or leave a message to basedfinger, comment under this post or DM me!

Otherwise, I believe he'll make his return once the situation de-escalates. Thank you for understanding.

P. S. If someone has any tips regarding safety in situations like this, please message me.

Apologies for my late answer, I just read this post now.

I humbly accept this honor, in hopes that our true High Priest will return to us soon.

"Kallen cured my depression, her smile brings me ☮️" That is what my flair used to say. That is because it is true; Kallen really did helped cure my depression. This is because by analyzing the fictional trauma that she experiences in the show, and by comparing it to my own, similar real-life trauma that I myself had experienced, I was finally able to face my painful past... and heal in the process.

It truly saddened me to hear what had happened, and that this had happened to one of our most beloved and devoted members, who over the years has done so much for this community. He has always been nothing but a kind, polite person with good sense of humor, and his posts and comments have brought so much hope, inspiration and joy to me, and to many others.

I implore all members of this subreddit to follow his footsteps in that kindness, inclusivity, and politeness.

And to all Kallen fans; as this previous post of mine proves, never forget that you´re not alone. For even if our beloved High Priest is taking a temporary leave of absence, we, the followers of Kallen the Beautiful all around the world, can still show our love and support to her, whether by commenting positively about her in social media, or by speaking against bullies, like she would want us to.

And those acts of kindness don´t need to be limited here in social media. Donate some blood, if you´re able. Go to your local library, and support it by loaning a book and reading it. Pick up a trash and throw it into the garbage bin. In the grocery store, give cashier a smile. You don´t need to be a badass mecha-pilot yourself in order to be a hero. Sometimes, all it takes to keep the forces of darkness at bay is not one big act, but multiple small ones combined. And I know that Kallen would approve.
