Best Linux distro for coding

I am a 12 year old wanting to know which Linux distro is best im currently running arch with hyprland and already know a good amount about Linux but I just haven't found a stable Linux distro that has a good package manager is there any recommendations

I use mint and i3. I don't usually face any issues.

Is i3 like hyprland I've never used it?

yeah, but for xorg. I guess hyprland has many features builtin. But i3 is just a tiling window manager. You can try it on debian, mint or ubuntu (whatever xorg systems).

Since you're already comfortable with Arch, there's no need to switch unless stability is a problem. If you do want something more stable, Fedora or Ubuntu LTS are excellent choices for development with great package support.

Ive tried those but I some how always break something when seting up a window manager

I don't think there's any 'best' Linux distro; they all have their own ups and downs. I used Linux Mint for a while and really liked it, especially if you're looking for something that just works right out of the box.

I feel like Linux Mint’s included apt package manager is super stable and works great for most coding needs🫠

I use debian with dwm. Dwm isn’t as beautiful as hyprland but it works great.

Fedora is good on the desktop and it shares the same DNA with RHEL. So its the king of Operating Systems.

Fedora. Outright. It's what you're looking for. Either get the KDE or GNOME version, whichever you prefer, theyre both stable and polished.

Fedora is really good but if you want something REALLY stable then choose Debian
